Good build. I too plan on doing a 6 port turbo setup. I have an s4 turbo and 3 inch downpipe waiting to be installed. However I plan on retaining the 6 port intake manifold, so I'll be using a spacer to clear it. As for engine management and fuel, I am installing an electromotive Tec 2 and 720cc injectors for primary and secondary. The goal is 230rwhp for now, and I will be tuning it myself.

230 is very manageable to do since a s4/s5 na make 160-170hpish, already so with a turbo u will prolly hit more then 230whp easy

Don't use those timing lights with advancing build in, use a simple one that just flickers when the ignition sparks. With a programmable ecu you can set the timing to the correct degrees, and then you just have to check if the timing marks light up.

Cool that you are running a holset HX-52, thats a pretty big turbo! How does it spool on a 6-port?

Thanks man and good luck with your build . As for timing yea I was playing with the trigger angle a lil bit , but like I said for now I just put it back to how it's been . I know now not to advance with the gun.so I got that down. I'm going to mess with it a lil tomorrow at work . And get it right if it already isn't . Today at work I ripped the leaky stock oil cooler lines of and sent off to be rebuilt . Cost me $80 and took them a hour or so to build . Broke the oil cooler mounting bolts and had to drill and tap the hole s for new bolts . Now no more oil leaks at all , so awesome !!! Just driving and fixing old **** that's been bugging me . Still setting at 5psi for now . I did turn the boost up late week and hit over 15psi . Blew the coupler off the turbo lol I don't like the Mbc I have and plan on getting a different one in the next week or so. Boost starts building at 4k and pulls hard for sure just on that 5psi

Well over the weekend I finish another lil project that I've been wanting to take care of for a long time . I installed a early 2000's Jeep Liberty Efan (bout 18" fan with shroud ) a few years back and had it wired on a switch (neg. controlled of course ) . Well I've just always flipped the switch and let it do its thing . Temps usually right around 160ish. But now that I've been enlightened I've decided to make it at least somewhat right lol in the end it was pretty damn easy all I had to do was add one more wire to the ground side of the relay switched side and installed a 195-75 temp switch . Also installed a t-stat and drilled a 3/16 hole for a bleed on it since it didn't have a jiggle pin . Temps don't hit above 198 or so and stay around the 180 side . I think it likes it cause it seems to pull a lil better now than lol Went last night and washed the rides with the wife . Also own a 2008 trailblazer ss thats ls2 (6.0l) cam'd, stall, fully built trans , tune'd . For a suv it gets it Post some pics in a sec .

Well it's been a busy couple days wrench on the 7 when I get home from work . All I can say is Don't cap of your coolant port on the rear iron that feed and drain back in to the water pump had one Tuesday morning pop on me . Thankfully was only a mile from the casa . So got it home found the blown out cap and went to work . Yesterday went down to the parts house and went through their 3/8's coolant hoses . Found one thats a prefect fit, gates 18321 . As all the bends to route under the t2 intake . Since I had the alt off decided to re polish my unknown serp belt pulley setup . Came out awesome . May clear coat them before I reinstall them. Also going to wire my wideband to the haltech tonight . So like before just enjoying the drive and working the bugs out . Did get to run my coworker in his 87 iroc that runs in the 12's and stayed right next to him on that lil 5 psi so I'm happy so far . Last here's some pics I've taken .

Side note . I got a go pro hero and the mount installed already so hopefully soon I'll get some vid of it in action

Well been just doing some reading and tweaking on the car . Went ahead and changed the leading plugs out with some bur9eq's after driving around seems like it cleaned it up a bit and running smoother . Maybe it just cause the 7's were beat up from initial ecu and tryin to start .

Just to say I love the headlight covers and bumper!

How difficult was it to line up those over flares and where/what brand are they? My girl wants a pair but I have always tried pushing her to widened panels instead of over flares

Thanks many . I've gone through many headlight combos over the years with this bumper but always go back to the lenses . Even have them for the dogs but a friend cracked one years back . The front flares fit prefect I feel and riveted them pretty much as is. Cut the the metal out from the fender that didn't get flatten against the flare to reinforce it . The rears I wish I would of went about 2 inches smaller in the arch . But I was trying to spray the bed liner on the body and spent to much time on the front cutting the metal and folding nice like . Going to redo the rears a lil before I do the second coat of Berliner which is going to be color

If at all possible share some dimensions on the flares. Don't want to bite your style but my girl loves flares and they're much cheaper than widened quarters or fenders

I'll get some tonight or tomorrow when I drive it to work . Been raining the last few days here in Austin , and having no wipers and unplugged holes in the bulkhead is a no no . Got some spraying foam to fill in the vent where the ac/heat pulled air from cowl . Amazing what stuffing some rags up there can do on a 30 degree night lol Also this past weekend went out and took some pics with the wife and her family So in the first is ( 08' Tbss,,87 fc , 07' 4dr si.07 2dr si , 2011 5.0 mustang ) the wife got better pics and angles on here cañon

Well got a few things done this week . One of them being a exhaust leak at the turbo / dp v-band . Tried a few things and couldn't get it to seal . So got on Google saw 18 wheelers using cooper rings to seal. Well didn't find a copper ring but did find a auto trans clutch disc perfect size . Well with that done and sealed I turned the boost up to 13 psi . Pulls so clean , til my fd alt **** . So not wanting to waste money , decided on a Taurus alt swap . Went pretty good actually , didn't have to grind weld or extend anything . My Cosmo pulley went straight on to the alt shaft . With all things turned on I see 13.5v's

Well the unthinkable happened . Lost oil pressure on start up one morning 2 weeks ago . Already have it pulled out , torn down and ordering new seals . Turned smooth before torn down . Compressor was still good . Old apex seals are look great along with side seals . Had bad coolant steal in the front . And oil o-rings looked a lil flat . Need new bearings all around . Only a lil brass was showing on the rear and front stat gears . Starting porting my exhaust defusers out . Mazda trix's 6 port templates will be here today .
Torn down the whole bay and reap rayed with another coat of bed liner . Installed new stainless bolts in every bracket and anything that took bolts and nuts . Looks good . Repainted my intakes smoke grey for a lil different look . . Also going to rebuild the trans up here at work (Aamco transmissions) and fix my second gear bullshit . Got a lot of pics so bare with me lol

The heads is a one piece deal with the bumper . Did the conversion back in 07" when somebody pulled out in front of me and traffic . It's the b-wave front .. I still haven't got the measurements for the flares sorry . Got my porting templates yesterday !!!

I'm not usually one for body kits, but I'm much less for pop up headlights (I know...). That's the best looking piece I've probably ever seen.

Thanks brotha I'm not one for full on body kits either for the most part . It bugs me that the bumper doesn't set flush with the lower body lines but hopefully some t2 sides and diffusers will even it or some .

So I started porting tonight . Started on the center iron . So far going smooth with the bits I got from the snap on truck last week . Like butter lol . So I'm getting to the end of the ports were I need to tapper the edge . With the templates do I port to the that size then tapper or factor the edge into the port template ? Going to move on to the next ports til I find out for sure .

All ruff cuts finshed . Going to smooth out . I cut up real close to the template edge and with smooth them out to the port template . One question I marked my rotor front and back and bagged all seals . Well I did mark side seals each bag has 6 of course . As long as the spec out can I reuse them . Everything has really low mileage ( 35k give or take . Apex deal look great (stock 3 piece ) . Ordering Atkins oring kit in the next few days . I'm running a stock oil pressure regulator . Should I upgrade and to which one . Thanks guys

Order rotor bearing through Mazda , $27.00 a piece . Guess Mazda doesn't carry main bearing by them selfs any more , sucks . Guess I'll have to order . Where's the cheapest place to grab them . Ordering mostly everything else through Atkins .
