why did u go to a manual rack?

 

Less components hooked up to the motor, more space in the bay, less weight, something along those lines are my guess.

Those are the wrong kind of tires on the back for drifting Sticking to 1/4 mile for this guy

 

Made some good progress on the engine bay. Going to work on the cage this weekend hoping to get it all measured and tacked.

Working through my entire suspension, energy suspension poly bushings all around and composite Soild diff mounts front and back. I welded the front rubber on the pinion. Still need to modify the subframe to lock in the diff. D2 Drag racing coils were ordered back in February, but apparently they have to melt the metal and form the molds to make them because they are now ETA for middle of May after I get the coil overs, electrical is next. Moving along

Coil overs came in the mail today. Had to fit them in the rear so I can finally cross that off my list.

 

Update, Front suspension completed. Hopefully no more sandblasting on this project, lol. Every suspension bushing changed. "Besides tie rods" They can wait for now. Need a roll cage next in line.

Transmission Rebuild, new shaft ends, shifter bushing kit, bearings, seals and gaskets. Threw some epoxy paint on just to give it some jazz. All Syncros looked amazing and gears were flawless, go Amsoil!

 

Very nice!!! Where can I buy the rebuild kit for a turbo2 trans.?

 

There is no rebuild "kit" I just went through everything and contacted all my Mazda Parts deals for what I needed. Now I know who has what and costs. What happened to your trans?

 

Bearings and gaskets came today, all other parts may take a bit from Mazda 2-3 weeks. The bearings look legit, I have not had a chance to test fit, but there all there. Same bearings for all FC turbos if anyone was interested to know 87-92T2.
