the S4 had an M507-17-520-00 for a shift ****, and its all the m/t cars except the 10AE.
looks like your picture, **** should be black.
the 84-85 shift ***** are nearly identical, except they matched the interior color.
the 89-91 **** is like a handle, so its way different

I'll see who has one around... This will work or else the 84-85 in black....

Just remember that if you change shift *****,that the thread patterns are different between the S4 to S5.
S5 is smaller thread pattern so it won't fit the S4 shifter.
BUT you can exchange the whole shifter.(and use the **** it came with!)
