Shift Knob Identification
 
Hello all!!! Does anyone knows if part number M51217450 correspond to this shift knob??? This should be for an FC 86 and further Non Turbo...

the S4 had an M507-17-520-00 for a shift knob, and its all the m/t cars except the 10AE.

looks like your picture, knob should be black.

the 84-85 shift knobs are nearly identical, except they matched the interior color.

the 89-91 knob is like a handle, so its way different

I'll see who has one around... This will work or else the 84-85 in black....

Just remember that if you change shift knobs,that the thread patterns are different between the S4 to S5.
S5 is smaller thread pattern so it won't fit the S4 shifter.
BUT you can exchange the whole shifter.(and use the knob it came with!)

If you have S5 you can go with a Miata shifter, tiny, heavy and clean looking
