Hey guys picked up my new car about a week ago, my first turbo car and loving it so far.
It's a JDM 1989 S5 RX7 Convertible in mint condition, previous owner was 50 years old and used it as a weekender and garaged it all its life.

The Good:

Original 107,000 km's, log books, leather interior, good paint, vert roof in pretty good condition and rad vert BBS 15" stockies

The Bad:

A/C needs to be regassed
Brakes need attention
Broke down after 5 days of owning it, think the alternator shat itself as it was missing like a bitch, all dash hazard lights on and no power to turn the car on or wind up windows.
Broke fan belt just after charging battery back up so have to install new one in order to be able to test the alternator with a multimeter

Everything is pretty much stock except for unknown brand exhaust with Mazdaspeed tips, and unknown aftermarket/sagging front springs lol

Short term plans are Nardi Deep Corn, Re Amemiya shift ****, BC Racing coilovers, R33 GTR rims, slotted T2 DBA rotors all round, QFM HPX pads all round, and Project Mu G-Four 335 brake fluid. Then just drive it as much as possible until I finish TAFE and can afford to chase some more power. (y)

Here are some pictures!

After I first picked it up

After full detail - Wash, Cut & Polish, Wax, Tyre Shine, Leather Protection, Dash Protection, Vacuum, Windex

Midnight Run
