Dang i see what you mean hmm i might end up having to do sething similiar havent really though hard about the piping yet...

Yeah how did you run the power steering lines ? B/c i still have the fc lines but using the fd steering pump ?

I had one of the bottom lines blocked and welded off and got a custom hose with fittings made to fit the bottom fc line and the fd line. I just took these pics now at night so you can see

nice hmm i am trying to decide if it is worth it to keept the power steering or not this isnt my daily its going to be an autox car so i dont technically need it buttt i do love power steering especially since the fc is so heavy.... you did a good job on yours though i am going to try and figure out which way im going to go.

my pickups came in today installing them tom. just waiting on the front pulley and trigger wheel so i can crank it cant wait to hear it !

I used the FC p/s pump, modified the mount and then modified the REW pulley to fit the FC pump, then you can leave the wiring and the hoses alone.

oh okay thanks for the advice i think i will use the fd throttle cable and still look into the power steering if it gets to the point that i really need it.

i picked up just the block from a friend of mine for $100 got lucky on that but it needed a rebuild b/c his oil line blew out so i had to change everything on the inside the bearings were shot.

Damn that's still a good find. You said you made your own mounts if I'm not mistaken correct? You have a pic of them if you did? I'm interested to see the design you came up with. I plan on using on of my subframes to molest and fab for my rew swap so it would be nice to get some more ideas.

I welded a bar from each side of the subframe in the back near the tranny, then test fit a rear plate and marked the bar for the bolts then drilled it out. there are several different ways but i didnt like the motive fab mounts. and the bar was way easier to make.

so i have the igniter, thermostat housing, and FD throttle cable all on the way then i will start it cant wait to hear this baby fire up!
