Ah, Ok.
I would love to know who is paying you to get the specs on my car.... mmmmm.
They are fine. They actually lifted the car about 1.5 inches off the ground on their lowest setting.
That is scary enough for me to tell you the truth. When I see the pictures of the car, it scares me how much they non-loaded corner lifts.
(this is the reason why I did not remove the rear sway bar).
They are not too harsh though, as I need them to travel and take the bumps.
Overall, they are more unstable than the stock ones due to the height (even though they are about twice as hard), but the ground clearance is a plus.
Hell, we even had to weld the floor while on the stock suspension because it got cut by stones like a tuna can!!

Disappointing second event of the season.
I was only able to get 2nd place on my class. But the difference was about 15 seconds with the first one.
But I am not mad with the results. We know why we got that number and the data we got at the event was VERY valuable for future events.
I will update as soon as I can confirm it.

A couple of pictures of the event taken by Eric Helgesen
You can see how much higher the car is with the new suspension. Its the "tallest" Rx7 I have ever seen
But the car still drops too low when under load. It is mostly due to the blown KYB AGXs on the car.....
I need to find replacement shocks soon that would work with the ground control springs.......
I have been thinking about Blisteins... but I do not wan to spend that much money right now....

Respecognize!
for my rally FB which has all FC front everything, im using an inverted monotube Bilstein 40mm with 8" stroke and a 225lb 12" spring (2.5 ID) the softer spring allows for good use of travel, but overall is still pretty firm. This is with no sway bar.
what is the spring rate of that spring your running?
what is the spring rate of that spring your running?

If you find an RX7 in good shape (engine wise, the rest is easy to find or replace) do it.
Either the RX7 or the Miata are the best candidates for Rallycross.

The spring rate is 225 front and 200 rear I believe. But they are 9" long I believe.
At their lowest setting the car is almost 2" taller. Which makes me think about leaving the sway bar on because if I roll too much while sliding, I can end up upside down.

Ok, this is the last post I am going to be writing about her.
We did get the championship on Modified RWD before the sale. We are very happy that we could make it and win two years in a row, but we are sad that we had to sell her.
I hope she is as good to the new owner as she was with us.
Thanks for reading
