I hated that it's not quite tuned yet, so it doesn't drive very well hahaha
It drove onto the trailer, kinda, and off the trailer into the driveway of the guy who is vinyl wrapping it for me. So....small victories.
Mercury Villager Mini-van - a 1998 I think? Found it for under $20 at the U-pull junk yard.

Put in a switch for my intercooler pump and my eventual LED fog lights
Driver's seat is in - need to finish the passengers seat
And, as I mentioned, for the first time since I bought the car 3 years ago this month, it drove outside under its own power!
Loaded up and heading out to get pretty - getting the body vinyl wrapped, bumpers and trim on, sideskirts, diffusers etc.
And my new tank came in for the intercooler setup! Just need to modify it a bit.

She's still waiting to be wrapped, but I uploaded a couple videos from the day I dropped it off - note, there was A LOT of premix in the fuel because multiple people had premixed it not realizing the other did. LOL it's also a fresh engine with like 30 minutes of run time on it. I need to adjust some things to get the idle down a bit, but we're getting there. Still needs tuning.

Working on a little more of the wrapping. Did all the trim last night and half finished the mirrors. Next is the front bumper...Car is still "some assembly required".

Finally getting the garage all cleaned out after the winter and ready to work on things.
Finishing the intercooler tank and installing the rest of the system is now done!
Installed an oil pressure/temp gauge:
Then Marco came down to Halifax for a tuning session. Of course, that's when I had a dead wideband sensor, aux ports that were jammed up and required me to take off the LIM and work them on the bench. Also, an LIM stud broke and had to be replaced. Then, we had a cracked coolant neck top (the plastic part) and had to replace that because the car was heating up too much.
Finally, we got the car on the dyno and got it tuned so that it's driveable! The half bridge was spooling the turbo super quick, and the wastegate is not adequate - it's got a 9lb spring, but was consistently boosting to 14lb with no signs of stopping. I also need to do a little ignition upgrade, but overall, the car is INFINITELY better after this weekend and I can start assembling some final pieces to enjoy it this summer while I finish those last things up!

Lexan headlights are made....

I think the car may be a little low though....might have to raise it up a bit.

I love what you've done with the convertible. The wrap looks superb. Unless I missed it, can you give a rough estimate of the final cost of the wrapping? My seven could use paint, but since I don't have the space or time to do it myself, it would cost an arm and a leg to get it done by someone reputable. Wrapping may be a better option.

Hey! Mine was a little different, because a friend did it as a favor and I got the roll of wrap for half price. Here in my city, you can sometimes get a wrap done for $1899. It depends on the wrap you get though and how much they charge for labor. A typical roll of wrap is like $1000. You can do more complex colors though that would be way more than that in paint.
