RB25DET Swapped rx7
So last week after selling my 240sx i bought this 1987 RX7 it has a RB25DET NEO swapped into it with a 5 speed trans and ive been told it has a turbo ll diff in it.I know it has an aftermarket intake manifold just unsure of the brand it has a Racetronics fuel rail i was told it has the stock size turbo but its been ported or ungraded in some way but have yet to confirm that, has a custom front mount intercooler setup, custom made exhaust (which still has a cat and is still terribly quiet),ISR Coilovers,im guessing someone cut and welded the oil pan to create a rear sump because the drain plug is at the back of the motor and from what i was reading it came at the front and that would be a problem, its running a R34 ecu at about 8 psi for now, and it has a walbro 255lph fuel pump. So for the cons, I hate the hood but when the swap was done they couldnt seem to get the motor low enough to clear the hood so they cut it and molded in a scoop.(Which im planning on trying to do something about when i pull the motor for a timing belt valve adjustment and overall engine bay clean up but im waiting to get my miata painted first so i have something to drive because this is currently my daily driver cause my other cars either dont run or are wrecked or in the process of getting fixed) They cut the passenger side carpet out of it because the heater core started leaking and messed up the carpet before he could get it fixed so i need to buy a carpet, when i got it it was still on the stock 185/70/14 wheels and tires so i had to change that because it was very sketchy, The fuel pump whines at you after longer drives and after the 3 hour drive back from buying it i hit boost cut right before i made it home but after turning it off it as fine next time i got in it and have since ordered a new one, It could really use an alignment, The exhaust is crazy quiet, the paint is rough but im planning on painting it white or black so it shouldnt matter, the driver side fender got backed into so im looking for a replacement for that,and its not running an idle air controller so sometimes itll cut off rolling up to a stop if you dont rev it once or twice but overall its been a pretty solid daily its crazy fast and i have alot of plans for it. Its alot more car than i think i should really have at 16 but its no more dangerous than the crotch rockets i ride. I will add pics of everything since i got the car to this current point and just let me know what you think or if you have any questions for me or any useful advice.
