My build: Alice
Here's the down low:
1988 vert
Manual
Sunrise red w/ grey leather
270k
Horribly loud magnaflow dual exhaust
Single owner since 1988
Motor went out a few weeks ago on me, waiting on the new motor to arrive next weeknd.
Project goals:
Replace motor
Replace clutch
Replace oil cooler and lines
Replace motor mounts
Replace s5 taillight gaskets
Re-do the horribly ripped top in canvas
Rebuild both rear calipers and new discs and pads all around
Install sport spoiler.
Re-do leather seats with heated inserts and fix headrest speakers
Re-do carpet in black
Some lowering springs and shocks
Engine to strut to firewall brace
Replace horrible exhaust
New radio lol
Hoop roll cage for head rests
Body wrap in white
Many more things but that's all I thought of right now
I plan on auto crossing this whole summer.

Can't wait to see you bring it back to life! Did the engine really last for 270k?
I'm also curious why you would go with a wrap? They cost a lot more than you think at first and just don't last as long as a good paint job.

More pictures of interior, surprisingly unharmed.
I like the idea of the body wrap as I'm not too sure about the color over the next decade. I like white but also like the seal grey.
And yes original motor, very high km's :p glad it lasted this long

Random toggle switch

Not connected to anything ?

Power window switch off/ on is non functional

Oh lol, in that case I guess your engine is about average. Around 170,000 miles before a rebuild.
I still think you should go with paint instead of a wrap. Your choice.
You got a lot of work ahead of you.

I think I found the color. And will save up for a proper paint job.
Engine bay included I want to do miata british racing green. I really dislike bright colors on sports cars, it draws to much attention. Plus it's a nice green, that isn't ricerish

Nothing done much. Just prepping the bay before sending it out to get the motor removed.
My girlfriend backed into my car while it was parked in my driveway !
Nothing major just alignment issues

Also that toggle switch is what radioshack sells. I have the same one in my car in the same spot. It is also not connected to anything

Lol I told her I should put those signs up to mark the edges of my car for future reference
Also what do you think i could hook up to the toggle switch ? Fuel cut ? Give me ideas lol (not a fnf ricer bottle lol)
That's the stock position for fog lights. But... S4 is not as nice an S5 for fog lights as far as the bumper and light position goes. I would not put fuel cut there, too easy for someone to press or even drop something onto.
The only reason I put one there on mine was to switch on an electric air pump for a desperation emissions test.
