Alex- 1986 FC3S S4 build "need help"

Hello guys, I'm Alex and this is my car
[IMG][/IMG]

Story is I got my motor rebuilt by lucky 7 racing, 13B N/A Street port. And I need you guys help to put it back together

This is my first ever project car and I don't have the best place to work on it, my driveway lol, with that being said I'm afraid I might have lost some parts to my car during this whole process.

I'm not to sure how this will work but I'm going to post pictures up of my motor, I marked with Red arrows on the picture about what I have questions of.

[IMG][/IMG]
Where do the wires go???

[IMG][/IMG]
Next to the ECU where do the wires go. I think they were in the side pannel

[IMG][/IMG]
Vacuum line?, Ground?

[IMG][/IMG]

I know I need a new upper Oil cooler line.

[IMG][/IMG]

Far view

[IMG][/IMG]
Took out the A/C, do I need to plug holes?

Anyhow I hope you guys kinda get an idea of what your looking at. Any help will be amazing I want to see this RX-7 on the road!
Thanks - Alex

Vacuum line?, Ground?

O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold on the bottom......single wire that goes to a plug behind the engine.

At the top looks like a vaccum line..... i think i have it pluged on my car but im not sure.

Right is the inlet for the air-pump..should go to the to the intake....I have a small filter on mine

Left is the AC pipe to the inside of the car

Yeah I think your right about the vacuum line, the one next to it is a plug as well. I took the A/C out of my car do I need to plug the pipe?

my engine harness? i tried to mark everything i could for you just get a plastic cap or plug and stick it over the open pipe to keep moisture and dirt out if you ever want to go back to ac,itll save those parts inside the car

also from what i remember the harness that has the wire going to that O2 sensor(yours is broken obviously)is like a little subharness that goesup twd the back of the intake, should have a little single spade type of connector that plugs/unplugs and goes to the sensor, looks like the wire is black in the pic

Southside, I think they did have a label on them. If I remember it said something BAC. I don't have power steering or ABS.

BAC refers to the BAC valve, and i see youve already got it connected with that lt blue plug,it keeps the idle steady if i remember correctly, state the color of those wires cause its hard to see in the pics, one looks like orange with lt blue stripe? have you connected to the oil pressure sensor yet? its a bell shaped metal object threaded into block kinda twd the back if i remeber correctly

on 3rd pic down im looking, does your car have any pwr windows, mirrors, locks? because i believe they ran wiring to all doors regardless,i just unbolted the doors off that 87 you got the harness from and the door wiring plugs rt in that area, trace yours and see if its hooked up,i believe it connects rt where that metal bracket holds the plugs above the ECU

Okay just an update, I got to car all set. But my only problem now is when I crank the motor it makes this scary grinding noise and the car is cranking very slow. Some of the things I'm thinking are. 1. May need a new battery to crank it faster. 2. The grinding noise I believe is coming from the flywheel, could it be my starter?

PS it wont turn on.

Why does he NEED a fan shroud? My temp was perfect without one, turboed car. Now I am running an electric fan just with plastic strips holding it, no shroud. Gauge staying perfectly at 1/4 of max temp.

Also the fan is only needed when idling anyways, when driving you get more air in through the radiator than the fan could ever dream of.

You live in Norway.
When it's 95 degrees (35 Celsius) out and 95% humidity you will need a functioning fan/shroud.
