sweet! thanks for the pics - I'm a new 7 owner (89 convertible), and the pictures are helping me put together a lot of the comments and reading I've been doing (ie - never knew exactly where the primary injectors were until I saw your last picture). Beautiful car.

i got the engine swap complete last night and took the car on a 10 mile voyage. the car ran flawlessly the entire time. the idle is a little high at around 1300rpm but at this point i'm just happy it runs so well. i'll delve into the idle situation on wednesday when i have a day off. for now, here is a video of the running 10AE:

yea, but as it warms up after you touch the accelerator, it increases to 1300rpm. i don't believe there is a vacuum leak as it runs too well. i'm thinking maybe a bad seal on the throttle body as adjusting the BACV has no impact on the idle down.

Maybe after touching the gas pedal, the cable binds a little and is holding it open. If you can you press the operating cam back, does the idle drop lower?

to clarify some things, the sunroof is 10AE specific. it was an option on the 10AE to have a bronze moonroof. you could also get a smoke colored glass moonroof for a regular TII, but not the bronze tinted version as it was 10AE specific. i will take some pictures of the moonroof and post them up. it is a factory unit.

the floor mats are original 10AE floor mats. i bought them as an unopened set for a price that would make your eyeballs bulge. they are only in the car for special occasions and come out when the car is stored. i keep the mats in the house. every 10AE came with the "10AE" floor mats. the only accessory package was combo pack of the 10AE car cover, 10AE front mask, and the 10AE pillow car. i have the pillow car, but not the mask or car cover. i also have the original 10AE dealer brochure and i have a 10AE window sticker as well.

i tried manually closing it and it does nothing. i also adjusted the throttle stop back so that the stop was not touching the throttle body stop. i have no vacuum leaks that i know of. i will try messing with the BACV today and if need be will adjust the tps.

I was looking at all of the pics and it looks like your 10AE does not have the gold tint windows I thought that all 10AE's have the tinted windows.
