im very jealous of your ambission on this project . I also have a crystal white s5 with most of the paint peeled. Got to the point of having most of it stripped and filled in the holes from the badges and a few other small body repairs but now im so impatient to drive it with the new turbo swap that im trying to find someone else to just spray it. Wont look nearly as good as yours though im sure. Nice work cant wait to see the finished project. Oh and Might wanna just do a turbo swap now. my last car was an 89 gtu that i did a bridgeport on and it was fun for a while but just not enough.

When there are updates, I will update you. The weather is like.... 20 deg outside... Even with my insane heater, its still too damn cold to attempt painting. I'll wait until outside temps get back up to 45-50 or so.

Meh... Over the winter my garage turned into a stye when I worked on my OTHER 7... A 82 FB.. That project is finally done, but the aftermath remains. So, I've been cleaning my garage almost non-stop for the last week or so and still have another couple days of cleaning/prep before I can start painting again. Having a running RX-7 has admittedly dropped my motivation to get the FC running faster, but... everytime I hit a speed bump with that rock-hard old-*** FB suspension and the entire car sounds like its about to fall apart (300 dollar car), I think MAN I NEED TO GET THAT FC GOING!

Yes.. In KY it might be... but in OR its not. I need daily lows in the 60's. The chassis is too hard and expensive to heat.

 

Considering it was still snowing two to 3 weeks ago and two days ago it was 80 outside, we probably have the most inconsistent weather of all time here, hah.
