Micahs Build-up

It looks like a car in there! XD
[The seats aren't properly bolted down.. The fronts are all threaded in, but I think the rails are slightly bent because I can't get any of the rears in... >_>]

Does anyone have a picture of how the seatbelt rails bolt up at the top? Service manual claims that there's a stud but I don't see it.. I'm thinking it might be a part I have but I'm not at home to test that theory..
Made some more progress today! Passenger door is nearly complete - just have to finish the wiring and get the glass in!
But I still don't know where those things in the last picture go.. The black and white cap looking bits.. Got a few of each of em with no clear destination..

Both doors are are one [as of Sept 1st.. Kinda forgot to post there] and just tonight I managed to find the wheel key! Got all 4 locks removed, and I'm planning to roll the car outside in the next few days to get the diff/halfshafts changed and the manual steering rack installed B)
And then.. Engine teardown time! [Well almost, actually I'll get the hood on and the engine on the stand while the car's outside.. Oh and those pesky brake ducts/relays/horns/etc need installed..hrm....]

Got some more work done today!
Installed the manual steering rack, new tierod ends, and the hood. [Though.. One of the accordion boots is torn up from my feeble attempt at removing it... It previously only had a small tear]
Also we cleaned up the garage a bit and finally got the engine on the stand

Tuesday work [so, I was a couple days late.. But who cares XD]
Diff and halfshafts are in! Though I found out that the threads on one halfshaft are damaged so I have to try to save those soon... >_<
Oh and I'm not sure if I mentioned, but this is an S4 clutch type diff. ^_^

If you notice the ridiculously extended in two directions breaker bar.... That's what was necessary [along with my Dad lifting a few hundred pounds of pressure at the end] to get the rear front diff mount nut off..
o_O It was just like a flywheel nut... As soon as it moved it was finger loose.
Also there's a weird dust [maybe... NORMAL dust?! XD] all over the old diff. Probably from sitting in garages for 5 years!

About to go to sleep.. But I'd like to ask...
Does anyone have copies of the images Micah originally posted to this thread? He hasn't been able to find one of the drives from his RAID set, so there are no tear down or painting pictures

I wonder if there's a max thread size... XD
Over the last few days we got the garage cleaned up a bit and doubled the isle way next to the car, should help keep it safe [also putting the nosecone and spare door panels up on the shelfs FINALLY]
Picked up the suspension and drilled/slotted rotors from my awesome friend Ben yesterday and got the rear suspension stuff all installed.
Setup for the car: Racing Beat all around! XD Springs, swaybars.. KYB AGX struts [rears are set at 4, fronts at 4.. Not sure how long the fronts will stay that way]
Pushed the center brake light into place today, but it's not hooked up.. It's the one Micah modified with a mini reader board XD Anyone know what a 3rd wire would be for on one of those? Red/Black are pretty obvious.. But the third wire is green.
Oh and my PFC Commander showed up [already got the Banzai kit, but that's not really picture worthy when it's exactly as shown on their website..]
My total investment so far into this project: $7789.87~
Still wondering if anyone has downloaded pictures from when Micah was doing the take apart..

LOL... Immeasurable... ^_-
Micah spent who knows how long stripping the car, removing sound deadening, fixing dents, tearing down the NA engine, building a paint booth, repainting..... o_O
I'm probably somewhere in the 100-200hrs range if I take a quick guess... Could be more, I'm not sure. XD
There's still plenty more to buy... Tires [$200-400], clutch kit [$100-150], battery [$75? Haven't looked for a while..], fuel injector cleaning [$100], misc for engine rebuild [say.. $40?], Prosport 45MM Amber gauges [boost/oil pressure, water temp $240], oil, registration [$180?!], DEQ, brake fluid, better condition driveshaft [or rebuild it ≤$100], tuning......... o_O Man..
Quick estimate for those [minus tuning] $1220
Projected total cost: $9009.87 ....Holy crud, lol
