Well, sadly I failed at my goal of getting my car into "drivable" condition by the first of the new year, but man, I feel like a lot was accomplished. I can honestly say I did everything I could to achieve it, however I had a huge setback with trying to save time and ordering a "plug and play fuel kit" from Hinson motorsports.

Tomorrow will mark 1 month since I ordered it, and although most of the parts for it are here, there are still a few things missing needed to make it work. I will be calling them tomorrow to really go over my frustration with them. I highly advise to stay away from using them, this is my first experience with them, and also the worst experience I have ever had with a parts company.

I am hoping sometime this week/weekend the car will be on it's first drive, but not getting my hopes up just yet.

Been crazy busy since the beginning of the year, so here is a small update on little things that have been done.

Tilton 1" Clutch master (with custom adapter)

Fuel system stuffs finally installed, fuel filter/lines shown here, I will get a better pic of the FPR in the future, can kind of see it in engine bay pics below.

Custom coolant overflow tank.

Intake pipe setup mostly complete.

Shot of the FPR mounted.

Intake pipe/filter mounted.

Exhaust pics/fitment.

Battery tie down, 2 welded bars across the bottom of the storage area, bottom of aluminum plate is bolted directly to the welded bars.

ECU mounted/ wiring cleaned up a bit.

Hoping to get the seats mounted sometime this week, and take it for it's first drive. I'll have a gopro ready for when that happens.

Still a lot left to do, cage, paint, and some power upgrades. Hoping in the next couple months realistically.

Thanks man, I haven't brought it to any shows yet, but I might in the future. Right now the car is down because the clutch slave went bad, and it's in the tranny on LS1's, I bought a new aftermarket clutch/flywheel to install at the same time as the new slave. I just haven't had any time to install them yet. Hopefully I'll have some more time here soon to knock out a bunch more progress on the car.

Bringing this back from the dead haha.

Since the last post I made, I got a great new job, got engaged, bought a house and I hadn't done anything to the car other than drive it around town and put some miles on it.

After buying the house middle of last year, I spent about 6 months after work remodeling it how we wanted... Now that hole in the bank account has been sealed up(at least for a while until the next wanted upgrade), it's time to get back to making progress on this project.

The goods: The car has literally had no mechanical issues since it has been put together.

The bads: everything from here that I plan to do is pricey.

The plan from here:
Angle kit
Random adjustable suspension bits
Ronin 8.8 swap
Wheels
Widebody(front and rear)
Body kit
Cage
Engine upgrades(heads, intake, cam, valve train goodies)
Paint

Basically in that order.

Updates on the way, as some of these are done, and in progress...

Here is a dyno of it after getting it running/driving:

Sold the gold MB Battles to a friend, got a set of g35 wheels in exchange. Tested out a buddies 18" wheels for a few weeks, then decided I would stick with 17"s and put the g35 wheels on until I got a set of new wheels for myself.

Driving around one day, ran into another FC guy that apparently lives right down the street from me.

Ordered the Partsbymax angle kit, lateral rods, camber rod and trailing arm camber links.

Somewhere in all this, DCW made another batch of roof spoilers so I ordered a one and threw it on. Love the way it looks.

Picked up an 03' explorer Diff/axles/driveshaft for $175 locally, and ordered the Ronin Speedworks mount kit about 2 weeks ago, just waiting for it to arrive.

Bought some cheap wheels, here is a teaser of them. Tires should be here tomorrow, and hopefully sometime this week/weekend I'll have enough time to get them put on the wheels, and throw the wheels on the car. Definitely going to need some wide body for these wheels, possibly spacers up front for clearance with the amount of angle... XXR 968 17x9f 17x10r Ordered 235/40/17f and 255/40/17r Federal ss595:

Got the tires put on, I'm liking the way the wheels look.

Weird fitment due to the aftermarket control arms being 35mm wider than stock, so the fronts are quite a bit wider than the rears, so I will be putting a spacer in the rear to even it out with the front, then wide body all around.
