Iced_Apples 87 turbo II

I got rid of my 1995 sc300, which had a 1jzgte swap with a gt30 single turbo on it. and went to one of these bad boys. never had a rx7, my dad had a 90 gxl when i was growing up. Same color as mine. so i was kinda pushed into getting one just for old time sake. Well i picked this 1987 rx-7 turbo II off of the guys from Defined autoworks Co-owner mike. from what i was told. nice guys, the car was in little worse shape body then i thought but all in all it ran ok. was told the master or slave was going out causing it to grind, i didn't think it was true, and i still don't, i am sure the trans needs gone though. but anyways on to pictures and progress i have made so far. please any help or suggesting please post them up. i am new to these engines and cars.

Where'd ya get the rotary key? :O

Oh also, to resize the pics on photobucket, just click on edit while the picture is open and 640x480 is usually a good size to view on the forum. Nice t2, looks like she'll be getting some nice tlc.

Is that pic a picture of the front fender repair? If so, wouldn't it had been less expensive to just buy a new fender? And if the front fender is that rusted I'm sure where the bolts screw into is really bad
