Sweet! Yeah. I'm perfectly content with 300-350hp. One last question.. Were you running 550's in your primaries with the 1600's in your secondaries? I'm trying to figure out a suitable injector combination for myself which is why I ask.

Glease Man 02-04-13 10:23 PM

yes exactly, 550s and 1600s. Worked very well for me, just needed meth!

younG_Gunner 02-04-13 11:32 PM

Perfect!

New bearings for my rotors. Most likely from the owner I got them from had over revved the engine.

New coolant temp gauge. Didn't want another bulky round gauge, running out of cockpit space.

Got the porting cleaned up by Steve (Schlodes). The last engine had an extended large streetport (BRAP), but once pulling it apart i found a ton of big problems with the porting. Steve took care of it like a boss. The ports are massive now, and will flow incredibly. The rotor housings were stock port on the last engine too, so now they match the intake in massiveness. So long to what little torque I had before lol.

These are Steve's pictures:

It looks very nice.
I wonder though why you used an adaptor for the temp sender since you were tapping it yourself.

Good question, the hole was already tapped for an M12x1.50, and I needed it to be 1/8NPT for the sensor. So I just drilled it out to 1/2NPT and adapted it down.

Saved some money and modified my fuel rails instead of buying new ones just to get rid of the stock FPR and dampener. I'll need new ones whenever I upgrade fuel lines anyways. Ended up finding out the rails were brazed together, so it made welding them up really tricky. I had to use super low heat to stop the rails from de-soldering. Got it though, opened the rails up a ton and got rid of the unneeded equipment.
