my thoughts exactly, i'm not looking for massive power, just want it to pull all the way to redline without boost dropping...
i really like the engine setup right now, so with the BNR i dont have to change anything.

kinda hard to do now but what are the measurements for the brake ducts? I mean that whole splitter like plate and tubing. i really like that set-up. But yeah dude nice *** seven! Hey Murray your ca is among the bad *** ones on this forum so dont feel left out lol
the size of the tunnel is really hard to say, i just started and things just came together.
it reaches from the bottom of the FMIC (uses the same boltholes) to the bottom of the Koyo Radiator and over the full width, so that would be about 60x50cm i guess.
my watertemps are 5-10degrees lower now due to the tunnel.
the setup for the oilcooler is just insane! it is set in the middel of the rad, with the fan on the opposite side. i made a duct between oilcooler and rad, so the fan pulls air through the oilcooler and then the radiator.
oil never goeds above 110 and if i let it idle for 5 minutes, it drops to 50-60degrees.

Furb, amazing FC. It has been my background multiple times. You did such a great job with everything, making sure everything was upgraded correctly the first time, and making such a sexy machine.
I might have missed it but what PSI are you at the make what horsepower?

got it here in holland at a mazda dealership who is specialized in rotary.
i asked him about adresses for a tranny rebuild and he said he had a brand new one. he once bought it from another dealership that was clearing its old stock.
it turned out to be for S4, which he didn't know..
but for me, this was even better, because of the shorter 5th it feels more lively on the highway.
best thing is, i paid only €800 for it

for real, my paycheck isnt that awesome...
i am 26, still live with my parents and no girlfriend, and untill i was 21 i saved a lot of cash for a car. and now, for the last 5 years since i got the FC i haven't saved a penny...

Furb, the dyno vid was sweet. curious how were your oil temps on the load tuning portion? I would love to tune my Apexi PFC with a dyno, i do it all on the street on back roads and big parking lots. Combination of those and some Excell Fuel curve tuner spreadsheets I get it done. Dyno would have been so much faster

Nice build, beautiful car. I can definitely appreciate your modification philosophy. I'm seeking balance more than power myself. I think you're the first I've seen with the k-sport front brake kit. Would you recommend it?

I feel you on the "all about priorities". My Mortgage, kids and wife all make the growth of the FC very very slow. I just need to make about 15K more a year the I would be set.

my oil temps are just great! it never got over 100C!
but thats thanks to my 250x300x50mm fluidyne unit and flex-a-lite fan

the brakes are great, specially regarding the costs compared to other makes.
although i think next time i should have taken the 356mm instead of the 330mm...
i also use the stock k-sport pads, but the ds2500 are supposed to be a BIG inprovement, but they are 150euros more then the stock pads.
but i must say, my brake cooling ducts really made a big difference!
best thing is to shed off some weight in the future

yes, for the 356mm you need 18"...
for me that was not the issue, but i figured if the 330mm were not going to handle it, i would be better off upgrading the rear aswell instead of going to 356mm in front.

time for some updates!
picked up my wheels today.
they were straightened, and the lip has been machined and polished
there used to be a dent here...
got all my new suspension parts!
PDR solid rear subframe mounts
PDR front control arm bushings
PDR rear control arm bushings
SuperNow main camber control links. (deze corrigeren het camber wat is gekomen door verlagen)
i also have some 1600cc injectors on the way, to support my BNR stage 4 turbo which is being built soon. should be good for 360+ rwhp

the hoses aren't that big, about 4cm in diameter. i know bigger hoses would be better, but this does the job for me right now and was just €15 in material...

What material did you use for the duct between oil cooler and rad.
Do you have a fan between the oil cooler and rad.
