Fuel Pump Instalation
I recently bought a fuel pump assembly. Is there a specific way to install it or should it just go right in? it seems like mine is to long for the tank but i dont think thats possible. Any ideas? thanks

It should be about a foot or so long. Open up the cover in hte back, unscrew the 6 or so phillips screws and swap em out. also check inside the tank for any left over goop.

I just did one yesterday. It's hard to get it to drop strait in. The problem I had was the rear part of the pump wouldn't lay flush with the tank.
I didn't force it. I kept reinstalling it at different angles until it laid flat against the tank.
The return line feels like it hits the baffle at the bottom of the tank. Just keep trying and try the old pump assembly to see if it goes in any better.

I don't know why something so simple is so stubborn but i think it will fit. Just keep trying, once it lays flat bolt it up. It won't drop strait in. You will have to try different angles as u put it in
I just installed a 4an fitting for premix. I have a pump the adds it to the tank after refueling.
