is that the factory BOV? If so I don't believe you can vent it to atmosphere, they will cause a vacuum leak.

Comprehension fail. For a second I thought you were stating a BOV would cause a vac leak..

The gauge cluster on the interior is pretty cool! Any idea what company it is?

Venting the factory fc bov will cause a leak unless you install a check valve. The op has a fd valve, I don't know about those.

Well technically the stock piece is a Diverter Valve, not a Blow Off Valve. So it makes sense.

gauge piece is from my buddy's 240sx.. and i have a feeling that the car needs to be properly tuned, and maybe a vacuum leak, i am actually going to try installing a aftermarket bov to test the bov. but it starts to break up and shutter when it gets up around 3-5000rpm..

OK so injectors leaked and lower intake manifold has a little leak.. going to fix this but other then that no idea why this wont run.. using everything stock, turbo s4 ecu, turbo s4 harness, engine, now using s5 turbo because s4 one was junk.. so unless the AFM or Boost sensor is junk or am i suppose to modify the turbo harness to work with the GXL chassis? literally dumbfounded by this. have no idea what i have one wrong. car runs really rich. AFR reads 10ish at idle. back fires like a monster. breaks up or cuts out randomly. someone lol

What are you using for a fuel pump?
Stock fuel pressure regulator?
Is the afm sitting level?
Maybe an injector is stuck open?

It seems the general consensus is to modify the NA harness to work on the turbo engine.

And replace it with an aftermarket unit. The Aeromotive 13129 is a good unit. Search around the forum for more info on aftermarket FPRs. It's been discussed many times.

so got some s5 tail lights and a new fuel pressure regulator to hopefully make this car do rotary things again..
tail lights need some mods i guess to make it fit since i am trying to use the s4 center garnish. so thats not going to be to hard (hopefully). really like the s5 tail light over the s4.
and the fuel regulator will hopefully help the car run not so rich so that it will idle and drive with out choking out..

The S5 tail light adaptation on the S4 isn't hard to do at all, you'll notice what needs to be done once you take the S4 tail lights off.

Also, let me know how the fuel pressure regulator works for you.

I just completed a GXL > T2 swap last night, I also used a walbro 255, with stock regulator, I didn't have any issues with it running rich.

So you've got a Wideband gauge?

my wide-band showed the car idling at 10afrs and worse while driving.. don't recommend it. walbro is pushing through injectors and not sending it back to the tank.

No wideband, but I know what a rich rotary smells like. No back-firing, smooth idle to boot. I know at least 3 others that have run the walbro with stock regulator, sure it's not ideal, but it should work.
