Shoot
Look closely, there are no wipers. I will spray some Win-X on the windshield so that the win just glides off.
LoL, the wipers just haven't been put back on. I will put them back on after I get the car running. The wiper arms are freshly painted flat black. My body guy didn't want me to put them back on until the car had power and I made sure the wiper motor was stopped in the down position. Apparently he has reinstalled wipers only to find out once they were turned on again that they were stopped in the halfway up position and came farther down than they should and fucked up the paint on a hood.

It's waiting for my intake manifold. The UIM & LIM I was running before was powder coated.... pooorly.... The LIM coating had actually bubbled up and was really shitty looking, even with heat shielding over it. I'll get some pics of that. So I bought a low mileage JDM set and that should arrive this week I hope. Then they need to get sent back out for a proper ceramic coating. Once they come back they will get slapped on the block and the block will get dropped in.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to give the car as much time as I had hoped. The car is 30 miles from my house so getting to work on the car isn't always possible. Sometimes I can get some work done on the car on a weekend and sometimes I'm not able to get to it for a couple weeks... It sucks I know.. I had taken some time off from work to work on the car and female issues almost always came up and screwed that up. Now the paid time off policy at work has been changed and I'm not able to take any time off at the moment to work on the car, so I'm stuck with weekends only for now.
The engine is in the car and bolted up the the trans. I'm waiting on a few things before I can get it running. Once I have it running I'll be able to bring it home where I will be able to work on it much more and finish the little things that need to be done. If I could work on it every night for hours on end, believe me, I would.
Not much has changed to be able to post pics of. I do have a couple new shots with the engine in the bay but its nothing special, no manifolds, turbo, IC or radiator etc.
Rx8 **** actually wired in. Its soldered into the wiring for the light that illuminates the cig lighter.
