**** i think the new bellhousing wasnt quite made spot on, im guessing for now but it may have either crunched the clutch pressure plate fingers with the throwout bearing slide being too long, or the alignment of the input shaft may be out crunching the spigot bearing in the back of the cranckshaft urghhh

Well well, bugga me , who knew that getting engaged with the missus would slow down the action with my car, she put a lock down on me so we can get married and buy a house this year .

But after missing half the season i cracked the ***** and said im going racing
Got the car quickly on the dyno and finally did that retune with the new inlet manifold , scabbed a extra 44 hp with same boost same everything except inlet manifold and smaller intercooler pipes .

It may be more but the snow tyres (best i could find in no time ) we had on the back kept going mushy after every second pull , and the other drama we had was it was shutting down the hard drive on the dyno, the dyno dyamics didn't like my banana revving and vibrating next to it

So **** comes to shove im racing me much hated and loved maz at the track next friday and sat .
Ill keep you posted

Got some dodgey camera vids, its also the first time i used it as i now know to turn it sideways to film it correctly

never got to do a good full redline power pull, it was either cutting the dyno out, or the tyres were slipping too much

one minor adjustment was on the retune we also went up one point in the A/F ratio , so there was power to be had taking fuel out , it sat in the low 9.2 before ahaha

That sounded like a nice linear power band. Not too peaky.

the power band is long an strong, it goes hard for hours , i initially thought the ida manifold setup was chocking the power before ( not tested because im way to lazy to test **** ) , but after running the mazda manifold it followed the same power band , im now guessing its just that the turbo is being held back buy the low boost level
Ill buy a boost controller for it oneday ,
Im racing in two days, so if my mph is better then i know it really is a better HP increase

gtx45 uler with tial stainless vband rear housing, 1.30 A/R , i know that i could save 1000 bucks and buy a borgwarner, but its got to look good still
Dunno how much jezza is selling them for, im only going of the quote from my mate who works at MTQ , would be good to see jezzas quote for one, also im upgrading the gate to a pro50 turbosmak and fitting a blow job valve again, as after i removed it last year i could not avoid bog into second gear, i think it was related to removing the blow job valve , also got 3.5 inch ali intake pipework with hdi seamless clamps (wiggins style) , no intercooler , 90mm throttle body , magnetic crank trigger , custom 5l oil and water ali catch can
Also got 8 2000cc ID style injectors for methanol , liberty clutchless 5 speed box getting fitted up, smaller ali radiator from a civic fuckn hondas , inboard brake master cylinder , mech enderle fuel pump ,

I think that has covered some of it for now it will change

do you have a dyno chart of your pull with the FD intake plennum's? Great build btw, way to represent a clean FC! We tend to have more electric tape and zip ties then our FD counterparts, but yours looks very professional.
