Had some parts turn up from japan. Re amemiya style reverse cowl bonnet scoop and a set of NOS JDM tail light seals.
Total cost of the scoop was about $235 landed. Could have made the holes a bit neater but apart from that im happy with it. Only been searching for one for like 5 years lol

Update time!
Been doing a bit of work on the car lately. Managed to get the entire underbody finished off for now…
(I say now because I just purchased a ford 8.8 inch explorer housing which is the first of many drivetrain upgrades.)
The entire front underbody of the car is now painted in POR 15 rust proof paint and then top coated with POR 15 Rubberized under coating.
The body hasn’t seen much progress as it has been raining in Sydney for the past month
Installed a new clutch release bearing. This time I didn’t cheap out and bought the correct OS Giken release bearing for my clutch. You can see where the old one was seating incorrectly on the clutch.
Installed a new lower shifter bushing. I actually bought a delrin one and a mazda one years ago and they just sat on the shelf. Finally installed the delrin bushing and its so tight to shift with now. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade if your willing to take the chance and order through MMR.
New shifter bushings and springs (my original bush was non existant). Didn’t install the spring though as mine was fine.
New Release Bearing
All Back together. Still need to clean the passanger side as It got a bit dirty while working on the passanger

Got my bracket and rear diff cover. Also put in some new bolts for the bellhousing, gearbox and tow hooks. Next purchase is my truetrac centre, a rebuild kit and some ford racing 3.73s as I have heard they apparently have less whine than the other brands. Decided for the cost of tools required, it’s going to be cheaper just getting my diff built through a professional diff builder instead of just myself in the shed.
Bell housing bolts
Cant wait till its all back together and I can get a proper pic on a hoist!!!

Dude I completely understand how much work you have been doing, everything looks great and so professional! I've been looking for someone who has gone this far through an FC like me. Trust me there aren't many out there that will do this much work to a 30+ year old car. Appreciate the work man, follow through to the end!
