86 base NA - My 1st build!!!

Well I am getting the spring fever and decided to start a build thread to document the restoration of my first rx7. This was my neighbors car which he bought of the show room floor way back in 1986 for $16,000 i believe. So i acquired it back in 2003 or 04. I didn't really know much about the car then, but over the past few years I have been trying to learn as much as possible. My goal is to bring her back to life again and possibly add a turbo. I am not in a hurry to finish right away and with funds permitting, it will definitely take some time and patience. All of you guys with current or past builds are an inspiration to me as I take on this challenging task to rebuild my first engine. Ty for all ur knowledge and support RX7club.com.

Some progress has already been made prior to this thread. But here is a few pics from today. Just been removing various parts from the bay. Found three different size bolts holding down my battery tray, then found 1 more. If its different too Im just gonna laugh. I also wish I had drained the fluids when I parked it. More pics soon.
