Good job on installing your engine and transmission .

Too bad the harness was cut . Are you going to buy another stock harness? Or buy a Haltech?

I have a harness that came with my car that's still connected to the ECU

Yeah the only thing i gotta do now is reach the second injectors but I don't want to take off the whole top of the engine

Yep, I know what you mean. Then you will have to buy gaskets and while you have the uim off it's a good time to replace the vacuum hose spider and other parts that might be worn. But from the looks of your engine, it seems like it's in good condition and the hoses might be good.

Yes its actually in great condition it was rebuilt by Pineapple racing and only has about 50K on it and all the hoses are new or still in great condition

Csn someone please tell me what these are and why they are hanging in the engine bay I can't find them in my manual

that line on in the back looks like an oil cooler line but im not sure what that thing with the gear is. i dont remember seeing anything like that when removed my engine but mines was an s5.

if it came from the driver's side of the bay it can probably go to either the a/c or ps pump or the back of the intake for the aux ports or something

this pic should help a little. apparently that is the electronic powersteering control motor. if you have the mazda service manual look under the steering system part and go to electronic steering part N-20 you will see it there

oh ok that makes since because the guy was just pulling off parts so the power steering and ac is both out
