Well most likely going to going back to having a hatch after seeing this fc with what seems like a 326 power wing. That ish goes hard!

So, did you have to custom fab an oil pan/convert to rear sump?

All of my research thus far has led me to believe this wasn't possible without converting the SR to rear sump... Please enlighten me - I'm dying to put one in my vert!

I had a custom crossmember made and relocated my steering rack about an inch forward. so i use the stock oil pan. heres some pics.

If you want to do the truck just beeline in in the back then you could go back and fourth with our rear glass if you wanted to

ya i decided against it. I want to focus money more on it becoming a great drift car. so car has a hatch again

no issues with bumpsteer or funky steering issues? Seems a hell of a lot easier than converting to rear sump... Thanks!

Nah not at all. I came from a 240 into this car and didnt know much about drifting a FC. The stock angle is terrible and i didnt know about removing the rear sway bar and getting dtss elims lol so when i went to the track i was spinning out everywhere lol.. But when i was doin slow 1st or 2nd gear corners(like on/off ramps) it wasnt too bad besides the snappyness when u initiate a drift but i learned thats cause of the rear sway and not having dtss elims in.

Ive bought a crap load of stuff to make it a awesome drifter tho. Been focusing on all new suspension, angle kit, drivetrain bushings, and even got a bigger turbo kit lol. So by december the car should be a beast

Any updates? What about the motor mounts? Did you drill and weld in mounts or just weld the engine to the cradle?
