Smile Slammed and in California

Hey guys.
I have had my 85 GSL-SE for a couple of years now and I have lurked this forum but never actually made an account.

My car just hit 185k miles. It's still running on the original engine with no rebuild. Only issues I'm currently having is a weird idle. I think my idle valve is bad. I honestly don't know if I wanna rebuild this motor or maybe swap a Miata engine in.

Exterior:
- Original Xenon Front Lip

Interior:
- Turbo II FC seats

Suspension:
- Respeed Race Coilovers Front
- Respeed Race Coilovers Rear
- Respeed Camber Plates.

Footwork:
- Rota Grid Classics 15x8 ET 0
- 175/55/15

To do list:
- Change out all my bushings. I know Synergy sells a bushing kit. Any advice?
- Fender flares. Any advice on where to find a good fitting set from?
- Shave the side moldings
- Some body work
- Paint
- Get projectors retrofitted with HID's
- Racing Beat full exhaust

Photo of the car. I'll get more soon.

Anyone know where to get this front lip or a replica? And are the wheels 4x110?

Her car is a GLS-SE which makes the bolt pattern 4x114.3. I believe that is a Xenon front air dam which is NLA.

Pretty car. I would encourage you to get E-code headlight housings, build a dedicated light circuit, and run heavy duty, 80/100W bulbs instead of the HID kit however. Easier, cheaper, and more likely to yield actual results.

Oh and your car is screaming for some real tires.

Following you on IG.

I love this thing apart from the rota's, but that's personal preference.

those are retrofitted 240zg flares, i got mine from some guy on ebay based in socal. look up jdmflares, he also offers a wider version for wider or negative offset wheels. although, there are tons of other vendors on the web.

if you wanna be extreme theres also this option...

this is an IMSA style kit and i think mariah motorsports has a replica, im not too sure.

it would be nice to see you rebuild the motor and keep another first gen on the road. im going in the same direction with my ride.

good luck!
