Its sad though to see the 12a go the way of the dodo. Best of luck like i said on the phone its only a matter of time before the 20b conversion. I remember when i was doing my 12a you where so content with yours and saying 13b ack don't need it
But as always the quest for more power changes plans drastically. If i had the resources here for parts at reasonable cost i would not have left the platform. I am sure it wont take long before i get sick of 400 and start looking for 600 lol cars are a bitch sometimes. Especially when you have the skills

Thanks for the kudos Ben. The Turbo 12A isn't going far. I am putting it in a friends car when it comes out. As far as I know, we will be the only two Turbo FBs in the state. Got alot done today. All I have left is pulling the hood and starter, and the 12A can come out.

To get over my current power, I would have had to pull the 12A out and port it. The old girl has served me well, and destroyed many competiters I had planned on going this route, but fortune has been in my favor with the TII engine. Anywho, I pulled the hood, starter, and engine today.

The engine harness is done. I even found a way to make a "check engine" light box. It has the lights for the trouble codes plus a shift light.
The check engine/shift light box will fit perfectly in the map pocket beside my NGK wideband
This is what's left of the "not needed" wiring.

Well, here's the pics as promised. A little late today because I spent most of the evening putting the finishing touches on it. I actually tried to bust it off tonight. Got late, so I decided to hang it up for the night. The only issue I've run into is I have a leak at the water pump. I guess I'll pull it off tomorrow and reseal it.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day

Sorry I haven't got any new vids of the car yet. Between work and everything else, the main concern has been just trying to put the breakin miles on her. As of right now, I have almost 900 miles on the new engine. I was having an issue with figuring out how to setup my air filter. Finally got around to taking care of that today. I plan on making about a 350 mile trip this weekend that will be thru the mountains. I plan on getting some video. Anywho, some pics of the engine bay

Just got done editing the video from this weekends road trip. Old girl didn't do too bad. Averaged around 20mpg. Not alot of excitement in the the video. Just a good romp through the mountains

Sorry the link is dead. I had to edit the video because YouTube deleted the audio. Something about copyright infringment. Stupid YouTube. Anywho, I'll have an updated version shortly.
