Since I'm going TO4E on the cold side of the turbo, I figured I would address the hot side today. MMMMMM, yummy ported wastegate!

This one will go on the 12A turbo, then I'll pull the hot side off it and swap them. Then that will go bigger!

Now that I've had a few days to dig thru the engine harness, I pretty much have it down to the basics. The turbo on the 12A has NO BOOST CREEP what so ever. I can turn the boost controller off, and it boost 6psi with no creep. This will definantly be the mod for the TO4E hybrid

I finished the wiring for the TII engine tonight. I even bench tested it to see if everything was working. I have injectors clicking and spark on the leading coil. I don't have a trailing coil to test the trailing ignition with (Anthony) But if everything goes well with the engine build, she should bust off fairly easily. WooHoo!!!! I'll get pics of the engine harness later. The only thing that I found extreamly wierd is the S4s don't have a check engine light?

The engine harness is done. I even found a way to make a "check engine" light box. It has the lights for the trouble codes plus a shift light.

The check engine/shift light box will fit perfectly in the map pocket beside my NGK wideband

This is what's left of the "not needed" wiring.

I'm curious... how did you set up your wiring for your instrument cluster? and does this harness isolate the body wiring completely? I'm trying to gather thoughts on how to approach my own nest of wires.

The S4 harness will be overlayed onto the car. I will still be using the stock left side harness from the FB. So the oil pressure, volts, and tach will remain okay. The only thing I will have to do is supply an ignition power and ground to the S4 wiring to make the FI work. Then I will have to connect the tach signal from the S4 harness to the dash. That's it. Pretty much plug and play. I will only have to make three connections from the S4 harness when I overlay it to the FB. I have already tested all the wiring and the Check engine light box. I have spark from both coils. Injectors clicking. And no faults from the ECU Now I just have to build the engine........

I finally picked up my housings that I am going to use for final assembly. These things are freakin awsome. They are a set of 3rd gen Mazda race housings. The housings are beefier the stock production ones. Should be great for boost. The engine has been mocked up one last time to run my oil lines for the turbo. Anywho, now for some sexyness.

Good God, look at these ports!

You should really consider putting an E-shaft in that thing

I have my gasket set on it's way. Once that comes in, final assembly will insue! Everything that can be prepped, cleaned, ported, or fabbed is done and ready. I am getting so excited to have this done and in the car.

just some constructive criticism ...

does that include the exhausts? because they look like they could use some shaping up, if not for aesthetics, then for more equal flow characteristics between 1 and 2. at least, they looked pretty unequal in the photos.

The exhaust ports will get cleaned up before assembly. Started deconstruction today. I figured I could go ahead and start pulling everything out of the FB. I went ahead and drilled a hole in the firewall for the ECU wiring. Day 1 begins....
