It all started with the copper 79 my dad got for me as a gift. i don't think he ever thought it was going to come this far.

The previous owner really did a number on this one. plan was to use the body from the 79 SA to fix her up.

Frame needed straightening, did the best i could with the little post puller but need to take it to be professionally straightened. until then i got ready to replace the rad support, frame section, and fender well.

SA front end parts mocked up and ready to be welded and sealed, frame straightened by a buddy for free, and paint prep begins.

SA-FB hybrid complete, and snazzy ROH wheels to perk her up a little.

Thanks man! yeah it took the better part of a year for me to do this with the help of my grandfather. i would have gotten it done faster but money and time are fairly tight when you are a high-school student with a part time job haha. i believe the paint we used was House of Kolor and the clear was Transtar.

Yeah it was about 110 a pint if i remember correctly, and it took almost two to cover everything i needed. i would love to lower it, i was thinking just doing springs because the re-speed coilover kit seems a little pricey for what it is. any recommendations as far as springs go?

personally I have Suspension Techniques lowering springs in my blue, I know a bunch of guys that like their Racing Beat springs my wifes GSL has them as well car number 3 has Racing Beats that have been chopped (I didn't do it) but they seem a bit bouncy but I'm old lol will probably throw a set of stock springs in it

probably as advertised of a 1 inch drop, there are other factors as to how your car will look. Currently I have 195-50-15's on my car

The blue car in my sig is my car
