I don't think it would be that light........ reason is because he put a full roll cage in the thing and isn't he putting a 3 rotor engine in it???? I know, but that is more weight. And think of this, everything he made out of CF isn't really all that heavy, except for the hood. Fenders can't weigh that much, so he didn't save all that much in the long run. Its just flippin' awesome!!!! Great work man!!!!

my target is to go under 1000kg
the fenders are like paper, its only one layer of CF, so if you hold it up to the light you're able to see trough it.. Its weight is less than one kg..

I have fitted the CF panels up to eachother now. Making the lines between the parts even etc, all the parts you see on theese pictures I'm comming up with now is assembled so its ready for use, this is the final assembly you see now..
The motor is comming in, only thing that is loose here is the top of the intake and the intake pipe, everything else is locked with sealing and locktite.
Also now i can start making some molds for the headlights I'm going to use, as you can se earlier in this thread will I use headlights from FD that for some reason doesn't bolt on to this car ( strange? ) but now that the hood, fenders and frontplate is fitted and bolted together I can make theese as well.

Great work, very nice job.
You gave me so much inspiration.
If you have a price for the body kit please let me know.
I'm mainly interested in the front part (fenders and front panel).
Just a question about the fuel tank (I hope It’s not a stupid one).
Is it in its final position on the picture above?
Wouldn’t it be helpful to cut out a whole at the rear and build some kind of protection case to lower the position of the tank 20-30 centimetres, if it’s allowed in the category you plan to race?

The body kit will not be for sale before my own car is finished.
The fuel tank: You can just se the top of the tank on that picture there, the tank is going just as much under the car as it does up in the "trunk" there, so I have done what you are saying there man, but dont think I have comed up with any picture of that, so can understand why you asks.
