Made some progress. Port matched my LIM to the block, ported the intake a little too much..should be okay. And I bought a parts car! An 85 GS, that was converted to TII, with re-speed big brake kit, eibach springs, tokico inserts, re speed strut bar, moser axles, so much goodies for my car, can't wait.

Been totally broke since buying the parts car, trying to recover still. Had no money at all in September, and same this month. I got a new job which I start Nov 4th, so I will be making more money! Project will resume as soon as I have some money to spend.

Parts Waiting to Be Installed:
RE-Speed Big Brake Kit
New Front Spindles, Tokico Blue Inserts, Eibach Springs
Moser 5 Lug Axles
RE-Speed Lightweight Bumper Mounts
RE-Speed Strut Bar
Black seats to complete my interior
CP Racing Rack and Pinion Kit (Need to replace inners and outers)
S5 TII Transmission (Need to mod still)
Custom Driveshaft
CP Racing Hood
CP Racing Light Kit (Don't know yet)

Almost ready to drop the motor in! Just need some parts still, waiting on a Clutch Kit, S5 Flywheel, S5 Counterweight, need to mod s5 TII trans. To get it running I've decided I'm going with a Megasquirt 3X. It has everything I want for a reasonable price. And I should have no problem thanks to highnitro and his documentation on it.

After I get everything sorted out and start at my new job and get settled in the project will resume.

good to hear you gunna be making some progress soon. seems like you have plenty of parts to put on in the meantime. I think you'll like the megasquirt, if you buy it assembled it should be easy to get it going quickly.

i might have missed it but what are you doing for you fuel pump setup?

Yeah it should work out good, and I can just follow everything you've done with the ms3x.

I'm not sure yet, I have some inline pumps I'm gonna try that and see how it goes. I'm sure it'll be fine..unless my AFRs get all screwy then I'll probably go for an in tank setup similar or the same as what you did.

Yeah I might not use them, I hate the open lights I'd run them if I had lexan covers for them. I'll take some pics and let you know.

Thanks guys. Cash flow has improved right now I'm focusing on saving money for Christmas and my vacation in March. Havent really gotten anything for the car, but I'm super excited for next spring to get this thing on the road. I have big plans for it, but right now its too cold to be working on the car.

I have one of those Assistant managers who is like that, I hate those kinds of people that abuse their power.

May he rest in piece Mike, that's a terrible thing to happen to anyone. If you ever need anything feel free to PM me or other friends you've made here on the forum - we are all here for you. I have 3 younger brothers and a younger sister and I'm dreading the day one of us meets our maker - I hope I'm first and I don't want to go till I'm 100.

It would be cool to see you do a custom vinyl sticker with his name on the rear hatch glass or some other way of memorializing him through your build. I'm sure he would appreciate it and will look down with gratefulness.

Excellent idea, the sticker and the tattoo. Make sure you think over the designs of both extensively, especially the tattoo - make it something that brings back good memories of him every time you see it.

Best regards to you and your family,
Austin

Updates!

Well, I've changed direction with the project. I don't have the funds to complete the turbo swap. Well just a recap the motor is made of: s4 TII e shaft, s5 TII rotors 9.0:1, s5 irons with big streetport, pineapple exhaust port on mint s4 TII housings.

Im picking up a Holley 4150 carb, here it is rebuilt with 2 rebuild kits and a Holley tune book!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

And I bought a Mopar Holley jet kit for $33 bucks!! hahah

My New FB, Turbo swap to come-worc6bj.jpg

And heres the air cleaner

Also bought a Phenolic Spacer

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Also trading my spare gsl diff for a header. And I put my order through with Racing Beat! for my Holley TII manifold, and some brackets.

And I installed my Re-speed big brake kit and Moser axles.

Temp wheels, 15x7..came on my parts car.

Couldn't take any better pictures cause my hands were filthy lol. Rear kit I installed because the axles were in my spare diff lol hadnt swapped them over yet

Mind if I ask when you ordered the rear big brake kit? I'm in desperate need of one but don't want to lose $200...
