Those are Gotti rims. I have a like-new set that I've been sitting on until I decide whether to go Widebody or fender flares, both of which are sitting in my garage.

Can't remember the size of the fronts, but my rears are as wide as some Corvett's. 285-50-15

Im really liking the overall color choices. The almond and black looks really nice. Fender flares look spectacular.

Does this oil cooler have an internal thermostat like the factory one? I bought an after marker cooler and had to add an after market thermstat with a bypass.

My 85 gsl-se is down in Wilmington. I'll be picking it up over the 4th. The motor is done but I found a spare for it.

Cool. Picked mine up and what a mess! Sitting in Burgaw for five years under a tree did it no favors. The engine compartment is dirty and rusted throughout. This is going to be a major undertaking.

If that is rusted throughout, you should come up to michigan sometime. You know they drive dump trucks around here for six months out of the year dumping SALT on the road!!! It's totally nuts! That all looks like it will buff right out.

To high carb: Looks like some nice progress. Looking forward to seeing the new rims on the car!

Looks better after a wash. The motor is almost ready to come out. If you look at the intake - the seal around the air filter melted into a gooey tar like substance - I found a bunch of black crap in the intake too, I'm thinking this may have caused the engine to die.

That cooler does not look like it has a thermostat like the factory one. A thermostat is important because the oil can be too thick if it is not up to temp.

Finally it is good to have an oil pressure gauge again. (the engine is a 79 and does not have spot for the sender)

it is an original alternator, I believe. most replacement alternators are Bosch style units.
