IN My daily driver build

Figured since I'm having to do so much and using this forum for so much information I might as well make a thread sharing all the problems I've had along the way with this SA22C.

Here's the story:
I was browsing CList and saw someone with a 1980 RX7 for only $900. Didn't run, needed work (plenty) but was in relatively good shape and low mileage. Decided to pass, didn't feel like spending the money. I told my little brother about it a couple weeks later and he told me he wanted to buy it for me to fix up for him. So I checked CList again and found that the guy had dropped the price to just $500! I couldn't pass that up. I didn't have a chance to check it out much before I bought it. I just got a trailer, drove down, handed him the cash, and we pushed it down his driveway onto my trailer.

The reason this guy dropped the price was because of a "rusted fuel line." Turned out to be just an air pump line When I got it home all I did was inspect it and try to start it. I didn't have too much time and never managed to start it that night. The next day I decided I'd try some starting fluid and got her to fire right up. Put fresh gas in it and for a while I could only get it started on fluid (which I really didn't like to do.)

The thing had one major problem: flooding. All day, everyday. It flooded after just running it at idle for a few minutes. I rebuilt the carb and now it started very easy, even in the cold. Welded up mechanical secondaries and tweaked the idle. Now, as of posting this, it has an issue with not keeping the carb bowls full enough to keep it running for too long.

The ugly:
The car must have been vandalized. Driver's glass was missing and the stereo holder was chopped up. It was owned by a highschool student who sold it to the guy I bought it from. The guy I bought it from never drove it. The student DD'd it for a while. The student also decided to a lot of VERY VERY VERY stupid things. He removed the stock seats and replaced them for whatever seats and never even bolted them down. Removed the carpet, efffffffed up some wiring, broke the speedometer cable (HOW!?) among plenty else.

The good:
Low miles. 35K original (I think.)
Engine and trans are in great shape
After rebuilding the carb it still pulls good
Minimal rust!
Stock waffle wheels

So far all I've really been doing is removing the molestation of the previous owner. This car is for my little bro. Not me I may pick one up for myself someday though.

Here's a list of what I've done so far:
Fixed the headlight that wouldn't go up. It was missing some of the linkage.
Rebuilt the carb
Cleaned the gas tank
replaced fuel pump and filter
Changed oil
Changed plugs
Determined that my ignition coils are probably bad
Replaced clutch master cylinder
Facepalmed because of the wiring messes created by the PO
Bought almost everything to replace the interior
Bolted down the driver seat
replaced air filter
capped off some vacuum lines
welded mechanical secondaries
cussed

PICS!

Looks like a project.

Did you check under the storage bins for rust?
