My car is older than me

Well it been a few weeks with this car i guess i'll make a build thread.
This is my first rotary.

The background:
I bought the car down in PA not running. i figured out what was wrong before even buying it. Paid for the car, got the title and fixed it in the guys driveway .
i changed the battery, plugs, v-belt and switched the spark plug wires since they weren't set up correctly. After years of not running it started up. The previous owner wasn't very excited to watch it run after i gave him scrap price for it. From there I drove 3 hours back home with it. Probably wasn't the smartest but she did exceptionally well.

The engine was rebuild with a mild street port , racingbeat headers and a huge fart cannon, and destroyed rear rotors and pads. Not a big fan of the muffler but for now it'll do.

Got it home ordered rotors and pads. Not easy to get quality pads quickly, or I'm just impatient. A few days later they came in the mail......... put them on blah blah.

Drove it a week and a half without any issues then one morning i went to get gas, and the clutch pedal will not retract. Lines were fine, checked the fluid and it was black! Checked underneath the dash and the master was leaking. luckily advanced had a master and slave in stock. Seemed smarter to change both since I'm in there. Changed both at pump number 3 and boom she's good to go.

I havent figured out what i really want to do with her yet, been pondering my brain for a couple weeks and still don't have a clue. The car is a complete mystery to me. Ive built subarus but this is a complete 180.

This is my build thread thanks for looking.

Keep the body stock. Find and fix your rust spots (There is rust somewhere I'm sure of it!). Focus on suspension, exhaust, carburetor, and ignition. Youll be very happy with it then. Of course youll need to freshen up the interior. Replace the broken door handle cups, replace the torn shift boot, new Mazdatrix floor mats. Repaint the peeling windshield trim.

Subaru and a mazda rx7 are that different? The only two manufacturers that have used airplane designed engines in a car. Both had options for turbo and motor swaps.

It's the feel, the revs and how smooth that threw me off.

I recently decided to let the front piece rust since it's pretty beat underneath after I stripped some the 1/4" of body filler the PO had on since the Bra left a nasty crack in the paint which led to rust
