Using the adapters is the only way I have heard, maybe someone else will chime in.
From my experience using the stainless braided hose requires some sort of adapter for the threads of the oil cooler and engine block. AN fittings will not just thread into either without you somehow converting the threads to the correct size/pitch.
There is always the stock FC hose and banjo bolts method....

yes the only way I know how to make the fmoc work with AN fittings and stainless braided line is by using adapter fittings.
you could probably find genaric fittings if you knew exactly what size and everything, RB knows its a popular thing to upgrade to so they stock that particular fitting
