Well i have a nice little update. Took the car for a long drive up to seattle friday afternoon. Went to Aaron's (notveryhappyjack) place to help get his car up and running. Right now im at 800 miles on my engine, it is running really good and got almost 30mpg on the hwy driving there and back. did alot of tuning as well, my map is getting pretty good now. the car seems very responsive in most situations. Anywho the pics

Aarons car is very badass. It was really sweet to be able to help out getting it on the road again.

Aaron: thanks for the pics, i hope your car never has to suffer that much downtime again. Seattle was fun, we will have to do a little cruisin' around down here soon engough.

idk yet, i left the car at my parents house because i dont plan to fix it right away this time. i spent way way too much money/time this year on it and its stupid that it just blows up everytime i hit boost. next year ill be back, but i wanna do it right this time and mill the rotors and get 3mm goopy seals or something. only time will tell. for now **** this ****, im out.

Thats pretty much my plan. i think im gunna swap to a different shell tho, prolly an 84 or 85 thats in better condition. my chassis is a piece of **** and id like a nicer starting point. My tenative goal right now is to have it up and running around tax return time. but this time im not gunna run it without meth injection, just in case.

Sucks man, sorry to hear you've had so many problems. What's up with your shell? Rusty or what?

yeah problems suck man, im hoping that ill find the source to it while i rebuild it. my shell has rusted out rear quarter panels and two big rusty dents near the sunroof. plus the whole inner wheel wells are rusted through and let water in the car while im driving. i know i could fix it, but i feel this is a proper time to get another shell which is easier and probably better in the long run. i also want an 84-85 so i can do the 5 lug swap more easily.
