Hurrican RX7 project build

I have spent the last 15 years on a special project for myself. A labor of love on a collectors item . An RX7 Hurricane [Only 3 were made & only 2 left ]
I bought it as a bare body shell with missing front panels sorced the missing front guards bonnet and front nose panel & spoiler [fenders & hood ]
had body shell on a spit for a year or more and spent over 1,000 hours working on getting it all back better than new, then high filled the shell and painted under the car & hood with 2 pack black paint
Then spent years modifying every thing to fit a 20B triple rota engine and everything needed to make it complete
Is still a long while before finished but getting closer

I have more photos in an album in my profile

The Hurricane was designed by Miles Johnson [who designed a body hit called the Daytona ] he and Harry Kojima designed the hurricane body kit but they only made 3 of them before Harrys business was closed down .I was lucky that the fiberglass business that has done heaps of work for me over the years bought all the molds for the hurricane so I was able to get the missing ones I needed

Nice car man. Very different!
I'm very interested in your 20b bracket set up. Did you fab it or buy it down under?

FC Subframe swap in the front I see. Will be a super cool car once it's done!

Yes I like the rack and the power steering and the wider track you get with this setup

Hurricane? Never heard of one in the context of RX-7s... Guess I have some research to do. But I can see that this build is off to a great start! Looking forward to updates.
