gentlemen (and ladies) meet Mr Peepers
Mr Peepers has been my little ongoing project, i'm probably averaging about an hour a week on it, which would have made a buildup thread really lame. but since Mr Peepers has made noises, progress should, um progress!
the back story:
a few years ago i traded an FC for my friends old Pro7 car. he had gotten it in trade from the mazda recyclery up in sacramento, they finished it up, and went to a couple track days (last one was july of 02?) and then he put it up in the rafters, literally
i then happened to aquire a set of NEW x casting irons that had factory filled ports, and a pair of custom but really low mile 12A PP rotor housings. christmas bonus for 2007 were a pair of brand new n225 rotors, and e shaft. i thought all of these parts would rather compliment the hardened stat gears and comp oil pump i bought in 1996, and they did!
in late 2008 i cleaned up and measured EVERYTHING and sent it to Glen at Arizona Rotary rockets, for a balance job. Glen works for paul yaw, so he's the man when it comes to this kind of thing. i work for paul ko, we do compare pauls.
when i got it all back (60lbs of crap!) i put it together with a mazda comp baffle plate and oil pan. oil pan is HUGE and it was only $67 or something. i rebuilt a gsl-se trans and a 48ida for it too. anyways i put it in the car, and then it sat for about a year, due to lack of intake manifolding.
in maybe april of this year we finally went and bought some aluminum, and made an intake. in the meantime, i started working on the car, as i had no wiring, no shocks, etc etc. car got new illumina's, with the mr2 inserts in the front. we also upgraded the camber plates from the junk GC sold in 1997 to k2rd stuff. alvin scored me a stock wiring harness and stupidly i pulled it apart to remove the 3 wires i wasnt using. 9 months later its in the car, and working, i saved a whole half pound too!
so anyways thats about where i am now, engine starts right up, and i'm in the dialing phase.... so far it acts like a stock port its just loud...
anyways pics!

nope!
car is going to end up really light, so its gonna be fun, annnnnnd i'm shooting for a wider powerband WITH mufflers too.
factory says 260hp@9000rpm, glen says i can take it to 11k, which should be closer to 300hp

pulled the gas tank out to find its at least half full. since i started with like 1/4 tank, this means the PP engine actually puts gas in the tank, right?
