I'm taking a break from the paint to work on mechanical stuff for the first time in over a year. I cleaned up my past porting and ported the new center iron.

Here are the end plates. I did my best to clean them up but my original porting was horrendous.



I went back on my word and decided to get it primed. Its all ready except for masking. There is still some body work after the primer but I wanted to get the bare metal protected.

Sharp blade or a screwdriver and a careful hand. a soak in acetone won't hurt.

Finally got it primered, I still have to do some finishing with the bodywork and the sheet metal isn't primed, but its getting closer.

I finally have all the parts for the engine rebuild, and nothing else has been damaged (yet). It was supposed to be a cheap rebuild but she demands the best.

its tape, and unfortunately since this is my first time using 3m 2k I did not pull the tape off and now its stuck. I'm going to have to re do it so hopefully next weekend ill paint.
