BC 85 13b No Idle

I took the engine out of my GSL SE to replace the clutch and do a number of minor mods to the engine. (Remove the air pump, replace the air cleaner with a 2nd gen K&N filter, put a racing beat exhaust on, cleaned and serviced injectors, new pulsation damper, make sure the tertiary ports are working, that sort of thing.) HOWEVER, now it starts but won't idle. It runs for about 1 second then shuts itself off. It will run with the throttle open at about 2000 rpm+.
The most common suggestion on this forum was a vacuum leak so I took the intake all apart and reassembled it VERY carefully using a light coating of gasket sealant on new gaskets and everything torqued to factory setting. Checked all the vacuum lines and they are routed correctly. On start up, not much change from before. Grrrr. It sounds like the computer is shutting it off. It starts right away, no misses, accelerates to about 2500 rpm or so and stops. Any ideas?

Man. That doesn't sound like fun. Sorry I can't help. Maybe someone else on this board could.
