Don’t drive it as much as I should do at times cars has sat and so when try to start the battery is a little sluggish. Depending on how long it has sat determines how bad it is. Last few times I’ve started it I have had to jump it. Once I drive it I can stop for fuel and it’ll crank with no problem but last time I took it out I had to jump it to start it originally and then drove it but when I stopped for fuel I had to get jumped off.

Problem now is that when I try to crank it it will barely turn. At rest the battery is reading 12.4 and when hooked to my other car on cables I’m at 14.2V. Even when hooked up to my other car to jump I can barely get it to turn over. Sounds like poop. Almost as if something is hung up.

Key thing is after a few attempts when I turn the key to start I get absolutely nothing. Starter will not even turn at all.
Ive checked the obvious stuff...Power, grounds, etc. That said I could have missed something.
Anyone have similar issue? Ignition? What am I missing here? Help! 😋

 

How did you check power and ground circuits?
Did you do a voltage drop test on starter circuits?
Have you had the battery load tested?
How many miles on car,what model?

How about a video so we can see/hear you trying to start car?
