I looks absolutely incredible Ed!! Very nice work on the install! I can't wait to see the car in person again! I'm speaking with my wife about scheduling another RX-7 meet in a couple months. When we come up with an exact date I'll let you know.
Dave thanks for the kind words. I used pictures from your posts as an inspiration. Definitely let me know if you have another Rx7 meet, it would be great to have two LS models in one place.
As far as progress, I got the carb attached today (see pic) and hoping to finish all the connections and hook up tomorrow and turn the key this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.
I will definitely let you know the date we come up with!! You engine bay absolutely looks brand new in every regard!! Your car is perhaps the cleanest SA I have ever seen and I'm in awe of it every time I see it!
Well, we're calling this one done. After about a year and a half in the garage we finally got her back on the road. This was an interesting project full of hurdles and "surprises" along the way. Thanks to my mechanic who stuck with it and eventually figured out all the issues, some we caused some come from other suppliers we used. I've had it back about a week now and have been testing it out over various driving conditions. I gave it a good polish today, attached are some pictures.
Congratulations on getting the issues worked out! What ended up being the main culprit? Your LS looks absolutely stunning! Definitely the nicest example that I have ever seen!
Dave thanks. There were many issues, form the timing mark on the front pulley being 120 degrees out to so many issues with getting the carb settings right. The main culprit though was definitely the carb, took about 6 months to get it right.
