Can anyone assist me in getting a RHD conversion for my 1st Gen Project , bought a rolling LHD shell hoping that it would be easy until I really get into it, but I'm not giving up..... Here it is 1984 RX7

Reason: I entered the wrong year, supposed to be 1984 and I entered 1894
Do you have the entire RHD front steering setup, pedal box and interior already? If not, I'd say give up. There were around 5x more LHD cars made than RHD and RHD cars and parts are much harder to find, hence why the prices are so much more expensive in Australia and New Zealand. UK and Japan cars are RHD too and not as expensive but are much harder to find in good condition.
It would be easier to buy a running RHD car from Australia than to source all the parts you'd need for the conversion and then carry out the work.
It would be a shame to convert the above car too, as the shell looks quite nice. It has the headlight sprayers too. Was it a Canadian car, or did you find that in the West Indies? US market didn't get headlight sprayers.
Well no, the FC dashboad won't fit, but then shipping a FB dashboard from Australia or New Zealand doesn't cost more than the car is worth. If you swap the FC subframe at least all the heavy stuff is done.

You'd need the RHD FB pedal box, dash frame, dash pad and console surround pieces, glovebox (since our 84-85 uses the same style dash as the 81-83 LHD models), heater box (different configuration), AC box if you want AC.
I reckon you'd be paying over A$3,000 for these parts sourced from Australia, then needing them shipped ($$$$). The last complete 84-85 complete interior I saw sold for $2,000 and it was in average condition. Uncracked dash pads go for A$700+.
Aren't FC3S front cuts getting thin on the ground in Japan now? I remember they were very cheap 15 years ago but Aussie and Kiwis imported them all.
Hey ,I,ve managed to get a full RHD conversion here however the dash ain't so good , but if I can get a better one for a good on your end I'll appreciate it a lot.
see attach pic of dashboard
Good dashboards are very hard to find in Australia at least. They all crack under the sun. However, the dashboard can be reskinned to look original. Speak to these guys and see if you can send one to them: http://www.dashboarddoctor.com.au/ Costs around A$500.

Sorry, here it is .
If I'm doing a restoration this will surely mess it up..
