Wow! You've made a lot of progress - keep it up, it looks awesome man! I feel your pain from the wallet. I told my wife the other day that all I'm doing to mine is whatever I can do for basically free - use my tools and a couple cans of spray paint!
The quality seems good, but even though on the website they say FB they are actually for FC.... Which is no big deal just have to open up the original holes a tad bit and they slide right in. Other than that I'm pretty happy with them!
Pretty good weekend! Had a great rotary meet and picked up a set of nearly new tokico illuminas. Also contacted Techno Toy Tuning about having a bunch of stuff made for my build..... Hopefully pics will come soon!
Been a while since I posted any updates...
The original plan for the fuel lines changed a bit so I had to order some more fittings and modify some new parts.... Again!

Drilled and tapped the mounting points to make it easier to tighten the bolts in its soon to be location

Just have to order a couple more fittings then I can install it all

Took about 20min and glued the stereo surround and the shifter surround together to trace out a templet. I'll be heading into the school in the morning to fabricate the new piece for the gauges and switch panel.

Thinking about putting in some angled gauge pod mounts for that extra wow factor lol....

Went into school today and made the new dash panel for the gauges. Also made mounts for the coils as I'm relocating them..

Still have to file the holes and come up with a way to fasten into place. Thinking of using quarter turn fasteners for quick removal if need be

Need to remove the first set of clamps from the mounting plate a made as they did not work so well lol. These still need some cleaning up and welded into place, but I like how they turned out!

Well I finally got the new ball joints pressed into my control arms. I don't have a press so it cost me almost $70 but it is forward progress so it was worth it . Still need to clean them up a bit then install the new bushings and bolt them back on the car. Work has been slow due to the weather so I won't be buying any big item for a couple of weeks and buying a 5speed for the miata didn't help either lol. Hopefully ordering a new sway bar and finishing my fuel lines so I can start it up!!!
