After waiting since ordering in March of 2021, my exhaust arrived today. Racing Beat kept on pushing back the orders. Now I need to figure out what I need to finish off the exhaust,

That's crazy it took so long to get the exhaust. But given the state of the world today, its no surprise. Its amazing how your car looks like a brand new car. It basically is really, given all of the work you done to it. Do you have the parts to build an exhaust in between the muffler and the turbo?

That exhaust is going to sound great. I have a 2.5" version of that setup and it's just about perfect. No experience with the PR extreme, but I can't imagine it'll be too much louder since their standard design is already a straight-thru. Can't wait to see (and hear) it around!

I have two 45° bends and on tight 90° bend that are allocated for a downpipe. I also am deeply considering getting a GESI catalytic converter.

On my car I personally found that adding a cat made it smell strongly of rotten eggs. Adding back the air pump fixed that and made it run clean as can be for smog testing, but I promptly removed all of it once I had passed. Not sure if all cats would act that way, but I would certainly hate the smell if I didn't have the air pump. My cat was an OE style cat though, so perhaps the high flow ones are better with such things. I'd suggest making it removable regardless. I have a "test pipe" I run most of the time and then I can bolt the cat in whenever I need/want to.
The cat I have is a Magnaflow 99006HM. It too is a metallic substrate cat and has no air pump port, although it's more OEM style than performance cat. In order to pass smog I had to have the air pump flowing into the port in the center iron. Without the air pump it reeked of rotten eggs and hydrocarbons (HC) were in the 2,000s, but with the air pump installed it smelled fine and I passed at 33ppm HC. Oregon limit is 220ppm HC, not sure about Washington.
I've been all the way up to 3800ppm HC when I was first getting this car sorted out, and never did it smell like rotten eggs until I put the cat on without an air pump. My understanding is that the cat was simply running too cold without added air to do it's job, and so it created a sulfur-like smell as a byproduct. I also confirmed the temp idea with an IR thermometer. Without the air pump the cat was about the same temp as the exhaust piping, with the air pump it was 400-600F on the surface.

Arghx is really the expert, but the cat needs to be ~400c to "light off" and then a ceramic cat melts over 650c, which is why everything with a warranty runs so rich. the basic problem is that the cat wants to see 14.7:1 afr, but the engine won't idle at that mixture, so they add the air pump.

That's a good idea, I didn't know the RX8 had an electric one. I've got an electric air pump from a Volkswagen Golf sitting around that will be used next time I have to pass smog (this summer). With the turbo and all the factory stuff won't fit.
Dropped the generic wastegate actuator for a 7psi Turbosmart unit. You may also see the header wrap. DEI Titanium exhaust wrap. This is the start of heat management. Test fitting charge pipes. Yokohamas Scratch on my lens looks like an Abrams film.
