Wow... just found this thread... you should have asked me what i used on the intake... allen-headed bolts fit completely inside intake and than plug hole on outside with regular threaded brass plugs.
Glade to see my turbo setup is being put to good use...

Another turbo FB... woot!!!

Hopefully you havent installed this. Oil pan gaskets dont work.. lol. I use only silicone on the oil pan. No oil leaks..

At the point in time that those pics were taken no I didn't have the oil cooler installed. I haven't gotten around to resealing the oil pan yet but I will be using the gasket. I will use some silicone too. Picked up some rotas last week. Ordered some 224/45 that should be here next week. Merry Christmas to me!!!

That white stuff is a byproduct of the cold weather that God created just for turbocharged cars.

Ah, yes the famous denser air equals more horsies......

I took my 83 turbo out on a set of 6" wide 14"diameter loaner tires/wheels after the California weather went down to a chilling 50 degrees (we are wimps), and under throttle and boost on the first corner after 5 minutes of warm up driving, as the cold tires spun a little, I rolled one of the rear tires totally off one side of the rim, and I had to limp home on the rim !! Definitely a Californian born car !

Frenchie has a nice warm 30 degree five day forecast of "daily snow" at his place.
Enjoy the beautiful white north

You know.. you might want to translate that "foreign" talk for us Americans... LOL (you should click on links).

We only speak inches, feet and fahrenheit... (yes I know that's about 10* F, but, most see a negative temperature unit and assume colder than reality).

You know... sense selling you that Cartech kit to you I've had 3 people offer WAY more than I sold it to you for. +1 for a unique/rare working 12a turbo kit.

Cheers

Amen,

But where"s the beer for the girls. eh?

What widebody is on your car?

Working cartech? for sure - after the thaw, or the beaver sees it's shadow(different up north).

Yeah, they get off on that celsius stuff - trying to trick us

ONE OF A KIND!!!

Side skirts and rear fenders are OLD MazdaSpeed Rally car kit. Rear wing is heavily modified Mariah wing (discontinued) and front is Mariah... all seamless, all molded into body lines.

Hey... it's only money.

Yeah berz I cant wait to pit an old school 13b with a supercharger against a 12a with a draw through turbo, both on stock ports. It will be interesting.

As for the temp conversion it just doesnt make sense to me to have a freezing point not at 0. It is just more logical

Nice job on the car bearzah,
And excellent work on the links to the girls.

I have a newly acquired BRE draw thru 12a set up. For an 83 that I have.
My other 83 has a turbo II, mariah wide body.

We will see how they compare.

Although, I am contemplating a 13b carb set up for the first car.

So I ran into a killer deal on a streetported s4. $2000. Came with haltech e8, extra turbo, and all sorts of other parts. I'm thinking I'll leave the 12a setup in for the upcoming summer. Come next winter I see the 12a coming out and getting replaced with this TII motor

Did u get the intercooler setup etc as well?
Congrats.

Lets see the 12a turbo in the summer - all two canadian weeks of it - soon
after the snow melts

Kevin needs to get his rx4 going with that supercharger so we can do some comparisons. 12a turbo and a 13b superchaged
