Sorry for the delay in answering the questions...but I have been on the road visiting suppliers.
The cell is designed jointly between ourselves and ATL here in the UK. It comes in a variety of flavours and so far we have made a 75 Litre and 110 Litre. The one in the picture is a 110 Litre cell. It is designed to fit within the rollcage, and has 2 filler necks that can either be run using a normal pump nozzle or dry breaks. The tank is shaped so that it utilises the saddles to store the fuel, thus keeping the weight as low as possible. Each saddle contains a collector pot, which excludes the need for swirl pots, and the entire tanks is foam filled. The outlets are at the very bottom of the tank, and these are joined together in an unequal T -6 to -6 to -8 and then attach to the fuel pump. Seeing as they are joined together they balance out the fuel level. The return comes into the top of the tank and is Tee'd off back into the collector pots.
I will get a price for you from ATL as their prices have increased recently, but it is in the region of £5000 inc dry breaks.
How much was that ballistic fuel cell? Did ATL give you a part number so others could order the same cell? I was going to do the same with my race car, but since you already did it, awesome less work for me!

We do both Carbon and GRP. The one on the Yellow car is in Carbon, the one on the car below is GRP.

BTW, please notice the big brake kit these guys sell. They ran a thread on it some time ago and some guys thought it was not up to snuff. However, I still like it, though I am sure there are many more expensive and perhaps better kits available. For the price, though, I think they have a great setup on offer and it has rear brakes with the ebrake.

The brakes are proving more and more popular now. And we have a number of people using them here in the UK in both Race and road format.
As you can see we developed a pedal box to compliment the new callipers, being able to match the master cylinders with the piston sizes.
The brakes come in various sizes but our main one is the 360mm disc with a 6 pot calliper. These are at a cost of £1265 + Delivery but exclude pads, fluid and lines. The lines are extra at £33. We dont through the above in as most people have the lines on their car already, fluid we can sell, but is a subjective item as are the pads. We favour the Ferodo DS range, but I'd rather not include a set of pads you dont want to use.
The rears are a 320mm on a 4 pot calliper and include a handbrake. We supply a new cable and this joins seamlessly onto the OEM set up, and will certainly hold the car on a hill. Although I wouldnt use it for handbrake turns! They work out at £930 inc Rotors, Callipers, Bells, Brackets, Bolts, Cable.
We are also looking to run a 390mm disc with an 8 pot calliper on our car. This is a new design, and runs 4 pads in each calliper! Expensive when running the new DS2.11 pads at £145 a set! But gives a massive pad area...so should stop us on a dime!

I'm not sure if there is a difference in translation across the pond here...can you explain which part this is?

Strangely I put up a poll on the UK Rx website, and the general consensus of these mirrors was a resounding no! Which is a shame as I really like them.
They were designed to utilise the standard electrical parts in the OE mirrors, as the motor isn't that heavy. It also allows you to be able to use the mirrors whilst on track. They were just a prototype....so I'm not sure whether we will invest anymore time into these!
Maybe if you can conjure up some more interest on here...we might

I think you have of us track guys drooling over your car you built in 2 weeks!! What about the front lip/splitter? Is it available for purchase? I'm assuming if it would work with the 93-98 front bumper, it should work with the 99+? As Adam said, really like the fuel cell. Is that an entire underside flat panel I see hanging down on the sides?
We would of had more done, but we are still developing a number of the components on the car...and so there was lots of toing and froing which took time. Once this car is finished, I am confident we could transform a road car within 5-6 weeks to a fully ready to race track car

Hopefully you will see the post for the ATL cell, it really is amazing, and gives you everything you need

They then butt up to the diffuser at the rear, giving a smooth clean surface. There is a slight gap between the front of the flat floor and the front splitter. We are just in the process of producing the skirts that sit on the lower sill and fill the gap to the flat floor.

I like to intrigue people....so by all means ask as many questions about the parts we produce.
Unfortunately I wish I could call you stupid on this occasion, but running a full time workshop, as well as running the office, I am increasingly struggling to find the time to dedicate to our website. Foolish I know, but I am going to lock myself away once this week is out of the way....and hammer some time into it.
Right off to visit another supplier...and then hopefully I will be back to answer questions later

I love the fact that it uses OEM parts.
Interest is easier to generate when there are tasty photos to be seen.

congrats on the car. lots of nice engineering.
design often is picking between tradeoffs and it seems to me your fuel cell has a very high CG. lots of nice work on it and it is close to the center of the car but when filled at 6.25 pounds per gallon and considering the stock FD CG is 17 inches it is going to be adding alot of lateral weight transfer.
i would have not done the center exhaust and rear undertray and located the cell as low as possible and as close as possible to the rear subframe.
more rear weight. more hook. if you need some rear downforce you could do a wing. my guess is you will need some additional rear downforce considering the size of the front splitter.
anyway, my best wishes to you and it is great to see FDs where they belong... on a road racing circuit.
in what sanctioning body and races is the car does the car compete?

I'm glad you like the engineering side, we have gone to town to build a car that sits on principle rather than looks pretty. The good thing is that all of the items we have made actually look good, so function as well as form
The COG of the standard FD is higher due to items such as the rear tailgate, running a Carbon item with Lexan window, reduces the weight considerably. If you look at the lower level of the bin and the lower edge of the original fuel tank...there really isn't that much difference. Maybe 20mm?
By having the weight in between the axle lines it makes it easier to account for the changes in corner weights as the fuel reduces. The original tank suffered from major problems with slosh so going through chicanes we would suffer from a pendulum effect. We have eradicated this by foam filling the OEM tanks, but you still have a large and changing weight behind the rear axle, and that isn't the best of plans. The new tank is far easier to fill in an endurance race, as it takes approx 1 minute to fill the 110 Litres.
We arent just running the diffuser alone, it will be complimented with a dual element wing. We fix these on the rear rear quarter panels, with carbon stantions, so are totally solid. You can have 2 people stood on them Running them off the rear hatch is so bad...they just arent stiff enough, so get flex.
All of the races here in the UK run to the MSA rule book.

jon is correct as to listing the benefits of a centrally located fuel cell. in a 30 minute race you burn 65 pounds of fuel.
most racers confuse the last 10 minutes of what is going on w their racecar and say that there tires went off or the track was greasy... in actuality most of this change is because 65 pounds of weight has been removed from the rear tires.
i had a cockpit adjustable ride height system that allowed me to add 1/2 inch RR ride height which readjusted the weight balance back to where it was at the beginning of the race.
all of a sudden the track wasn't greasy and my tires were fine. on a front engine rear drive road racing car you can't get too much rear weight and you can't get it too low.

Sorry for dragging this topic back up but I just love what Jon is doing with these products at the moment. I had a proper good gander around the car at Rotorstock and everything seems to be done to a high standard.
