i found cracks in the paint on the roof, once i investigated further i found HEAVY damage and rust. i grinded and sanded all the filler and previous layers of paint until nothing but mangled rusted metal was left. Neutralized the rust, spot welded areas that needed it, straightend what little i could, fiberglass filled majority of low areas, glaze filler to finish the job. this seriously took a week for me to do, and im very glad its over with now.

center consol i made. going with a black leather, white stitch theme.

primering and sanding. this process took me forever because of all the low and high spots created by the other previous crappy paintjobs.

aaaaand my random room of FD parts

and we are painted. i went with single stage (integrated clear) super jet black. this black is the deepest and darket black i could find.

i will try and get some better pics up soon, i still have to spray the hood, the passenger door, fender vents, mirrors, and sun roof.

I'm actually going two tone. Center consol, headliner,a pillars, and plastics will be black with white stitching. And the seats will be a darker tan more like a saddle color, as well as the door panels.

New carpet has been ordered and should arrive tomorrow. It's black as well.
