THE TECH's 94 CW
I think Gordon is coming from a good place (check his build thread) and doesn't mean any offense. In my opinion, sometimes pushing one thing too far, can become a little "on the nose".
Like the guy in the Porsche club with the 944 wearing the Porsche hat, Porsche shirt, Porsche watch, Carrera glasses and Porsche shoes. It starts to look a little, well, "played out" as the kids used to say (do kids still say "played out"?).
I think with time, the "trinkets" come and go... but **** it, it's your car and your path. None of it is permanent. Lord knows I've done questionable **** and come back around on it.
What's the rotor in the upper left next to the Mazdaspeed Oil Cap?

The piece you're asking about replaces the dipstick handle.
I know. I found the HKS after I bought the SBG. I'll decide which to use down the road. I know the HKS units have been discontinued for some time so I can resell if I end up using the SBG stuff. Always like the HKS stuff so decided it wouldn't hurt to have it.

I ended up with the SBG coils. Only thing to pay attention to is the dwell settings in the P-FC.
I didn't want in any way to seem judgemental, but you have such a beautiful and I'd guess fairly stock low mile Chaste White car that it just naturally seemed to me that keeping it a bit more stock-ish might be more appropriate. But, I'm sort of one of the original guys who really felt strongly about a stock look. That said, many people don't like my grill and think it's a bit gauche...
All the rotor things can always be put on or taken off easily, so go for it.
Couldn't agree more. It's like, when I first bought my old Testarossa, I bought a boatload of Ferrari stuff, like a cap, a vest, T-shirt, blanket, etc. Now they sit in a closet.
TECH... It's a beautiful car and I can't wait to see what you do with it!

I'm not one to keep ANY vehicle stock, so that really was never an option.

Sure is. You can do a dual or triple or 4 gauge pod. Whatever you wish.

RX7.COM | FD Gauges
You might also want to look into the RE-Amemiya column mount pod. I love that for the boost gauge. Made to hold a 52mm gauge, but a dremel will allow a 60mm gauge to fit.
Rotary Performance also sells the TriPower Pods - which are similar to the Fly pods - I don't have an opinion one way or another.

Yeah, I did some searching after it was suggested to ditch the pillar pod and do the dash one. I do appreciate your input though.
